Mai woke up from her sleep. Her breath hitched and her body broke out in cold sweat, she hugged herself and cried. Since that incident at the Blue Cafe, she's always been like this. Every night she had the same dream, seeing Karyn pointing a gun at her. The sound of the explosion was so real that Mai could hear it even though she was conscious and not dreaming.
The image of Aaron covered in blood in front of her also kept bothering her. Sometimes memory. it is also mixed with other events, bad memories from when she was a child, an accident on that swing, or when she was bullied by thugs and ended with a fatal mistake due to her carelessness.
