"I'm fine, Mai." Aaron smiled at her.
I hate it when he does this, - Mai thought.
That smile made her feel strange both in their heart and in their minds. For some reason, every time Aaron smiled and said he was fine, Mai felt that Aaron just wanted her to stop worrying.
"Are you sure?" Mai insisted.
"Anyway whatever you're doing right now, if it's weighing you down, just stop. You don't have to do anything." Said Mai again.
Aaron chuckled softly.
"Sure... Nothing to worry about," he concluded.
"Including my scholarship?" Mai still hasn't given up.
"You know... about my scholarship being revoked, right." Said Mai again.
The man in front of her now sighed and Mai had felt anxious but a smile broke her prejudice.
