"Sorry." Mai bowed again.
Aaron sighed again. He didn't like it when Mai kept apologizing when she felt guilty.
"Next time I tell you to stay behind me, don't move let alone interfere," Aaron grumbled again.
Mai also grimaced. Why is Aaron so grumpy today? Yes, Aaron was hit because he pretended to want to help. Then suddenly three more people came. There were five of them and Aaron was alone, Mai was worried. Even though the result was still Aaron who won. Aaron meant what he said. The bad guys had ended up horribly, lying on the streets moaning.
"You might get hurt, Mai," Aaron said in a lower voice. His brown eyes looked at Mai worriedly and the girl realized it. Aaron wasn't angry, Aaron was just worried about her. Mai finally nodded her head, a sign of understanding.
