"Weren't you just being all eager to learn, determined not to take shortcuts and resolute about studying earnestly?"
"Well, some assignments are so pointless, I only do them for credit. Help me out, please—help me out—"

"How about it, are you willing to help me do it?"
"Um, I'm willing to offer any support except for helping."
