Kai nodded with a serious expression. "When I woke up, she was gone. Frankly, I only knew about what happened to Theodore when I met Seraphina in that underground sanctuary.
"I thought that Jane and Theodore were here with you guys. I was so bumped when I woke up alone in the first Islet and found that all of you were gone. It thought that you left me."
Ryu didn't register what Kai said next. His mind was stuck on the information that Jane might have taken Theodore's corpse and disappeared. He had a feeling that Jane was going to go after Vein.
But what about Marcus?
Marcus was waiting for Jane in Tiamat's lair.
"Is this your third Islet?" Ryu asked Kai. If it was, chances were, Kai might have stumbled upon Marcus in the second Islet in Tiamat's lair.
