The three days of my vacation was tiring, because instead of resting, I did shopping, lessons about tea and embroidery from my mother and strolling around the park, like this is the last time in my life. Surely, I am satisfied. I love the carefree life but this will shortly go back to normal, I only have weeks of vacation after all.
I go home to take shower. Yep, aside from our family house, I have my own house in Lancent Subdivision further from our family house. This subdivision is fresh and relaxing, with limited houses only and close to the forest where the Eden is. Eden is a garden, full of different kinds of flowers. My house is close to the lake where we residents can relax and swim. Though, I only like the scenery because I don't like bathing with anyone around- in short I'm conservative.
After shower, I sat facing the cloudy sky. So relaxing… I wish this could last forever. Reading a book will suit the scenery, and if I remember correctly I did ask Ms. Nancy to bring the gifts from my party. I'll try reading grandma's gift…
When I found the box, I carried it outside and positioned myself in my most comfortable position. I slowly opened the box and an old but pleasing book sat on the box. Yeah, like it was a magical book I saw in a movie- like Harry Potter. It was 2 inches in width, quite thick but I managed to finish in two days. I'll let go if it isn't interesting.
"Fateful Asterism?" Not familiar with this fairytale.
Ah… I remembered grandma said this is an untold fairytale and I'm the second person to read it after the daughter of the author. Asterism? What does that mean?
I googled the word and this is what it means… According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary, Asterism is a constellation or a group of stars. And for another definition, Asterism is a star-shaped figure exhibited by some crystals by reflected light (as in a star sapphire) or by transmitted light (as in some mica). Ahh, okay… Sorry, I despise Science, especially astronomy, mineralogy and chemistry. Hmp, no offense Dr. Rock, I just really find it hard learning.
Whoaaa~ this really is the original book. I was expecting it to be printed, but it was handwritten. Whoever the author is, bet he or she, poured so much effort writing this. The first page is the dedication after the title page:
**
'Dedicated to my beloved sister, who loved fairytale stories but died early. Commoner may we be, but you, my sister who is always full of big dreams, I hope you are fine wherever you are. Your little brother, Askint Bev'Elle.'
**
Wait, according to grandma, this author is popular... but he doesn't ring a bell. Askint Bev'Elle? His message is simple, but if I were his sister, it is a heartfelt message, thinking that my brother wrote a story for me.

Eh? Why so many characters? It's difficult to memorize all of them. Anyways, I got too immersed in reading and did not notice the time… It was past 6 pm and I forgot to eat my lunch. I thought it was boring but hell! Who would have thought it was this interesting! I finished half of the book.
Among the male characters, my most favorite is Keaton Cavelier. He may be a mysterious weirdo, and may like to play pranks on his elder sister Tania, but he is also loyal to his country and he coolly executed all the orders given to him by the Royal Family. On the other hand, my most hated male character is Prince Megastar! I hate him because he's a playboy, he doesn't even spare a child, like Sapphire Vilgerda. What a beast.
For female characters, I like Amelia Escantena the most because she only focus on her studies specially on summoning but she's a lot dumb for trusting Yoren Terraste, who only approach her because he wants to use her ability to summon. And lastly my most hated female character is Tania Cavelier, she's possessive, obsessive, and annoying minor villainess who also likes to watch all the girls around Prince Megastar suffer miserably and in pain. She also chases after the Prince and doesn't care about her vulgar image. Maybe I hate all the female characters, aside from Amelia. I want to erase the others.
Enough of this, I need to eat… I'm starving.

*ring ring*
"Hello?" I surly asked, whoever disturbs me in my sleep will pay... I stayed up late because I was completely immersed in that book. Really? Nice vacation we have here.
"Why so rough? Have you forgotten we're going to the mall today? It's already past 10 am, where are you?" Sunny asked with an irritated voice.
Right, I really forgot. I stood up but I felt a little dizzy so I lay back down.
"Sorry, Sunny. I'm not feeling well today, let's go tomorrow, I feel dizzy.. urgh" I accidentally pressed the hang up button, shit, she'll definitely be angry.
"Why do I feel tired? Is this the day where all of my tiredness from the past months will attack? Ugh... my head!" I massage my forehead and relax my body.
I feel like my body is under a boulder, luckily I'm still not hungry. I still have time to lay around without worrying about my meal.
I reach the book from the bedside table and caress the book cover. How wonderful fairytales are… I often imagine myself being the prince of a certain fairytale when I was young, and that when my prince syndrome developed. Every time I encountered someone in need of help, I always helped them even if my life was at stake, though I'm also a bit aloof that sometimes, they refer to me as a Snob. But slowly, I began to change when I first attended the company, I only focused on work and looked forward to every possible project. Then that's when I realized I unconsciously ignored everyone's health, problems, and needs. Time to time when I remember it, I feel guilty, like it was my responsibility in the first place. But I'm not a Prince, and what happened to anyone not related to me is not my business. Until I read this fairytale… My princely syndrome acted up again, I want to punish those evil doers, justice for the victims, and saving the weak. How childish...
I almost finished the book, again... not all first impressions last. Before I finish this book, every character has a background story that builds their own personalities. The hateful characters that I thought I hated actually had a pitiful experience.
After reading for 3 hours... my eyes widened.
"WHAT?! 10 legendary heroes of Cartania Kingdom?! Why that prince?! They have awful personalities, why are they heroes?! Even that fool Yoren is included?! The heck is wrong with the author?!"
Tania, Lavinia, Nathalie, Melancholy, Sylvestre, Fredrick, Valdis, Fristo - they all died?! Why?? Was it because of the Recarde, the demon lord? Ammakildatbastard!!!
"After defeating the King of the Demons, the kingdom of Cartania got to live in peace without demons and the five legendary heroes all lived happily and peacefully ever after with their loved ones. The End."
"NO! Not yet!" I screamed
Author Askint please change it! I can't accept this, how about the blue wolf tribe Pack? They vanished without a trace, little Nathalie was sacrificed for her sister Denzelle, and succumbed to darkness, and ended up dying. Tania? She may have an awful personality but why didn't give her a chance to change? Lavinia, who was pathetic 'til the end, was still pathetic and died pathetic. Melancholy who died pitifully, she was framed! She may look tough and evil because of her beauty, but it was all because of that two-faced Arta!
"Author, why are you so heartless?!"
*drop*
I felt my tear fell.
"Huh? Why did I…?" I unconsciously asked.
'Was it because I can't accept the sudden turn of events? Feeling sympathetic towards the deceased characters? Or… I can't accept the fact that there's no second chances for those people in this fairy tale.'
