According to the people there, about 900 years ago, it used to be the kingdom of the Parmar dynasty in Kiradu.

At that time one day a monk came to live here with some of his disciples. And after spending a few days here, he thought that he decided to roam a little more. One day he went out somewhere at night without informing the disciples.

A few days after his departure, all the disciples became ill and they sought help from the villagers, but the villagers did not help them.

Only one potter served him selflessly. So that their health gets better. After walking the monks reached the same place. So he got very angry seeing his disciples in a weak condition.

He told all the villagers that the place where man does not help human beings.

So what right do they have to live? And then he cursed the whole village to become a stone. He kept the potter who served the disciples untouched by this and asked him to leave this village without turning back at dusk.

But the woman accidentally looked back and that too became a stone idol.

Nearby villagers still have the idol of that potter. That's why in ancient times people always kept the saints and mahatmas happy.

After this curse, no one goes to that temple after dusk.
