Claire and the entire Morrison Family had been urging him to move on swiftly, and there was a nagging suspicion in the back of his mind that perhaps she had sent Yves here to seduce him.
"No. She didn't send me here," Yves declared, his expression steadfast. "I've come to tell you the truth about Ryota's disappearance."
A heavy silence hung between them, pregnant with anticipation. Yves continued, his voice unwavering, "Gloria Clark kidnapped Ryota and killed him."
