Sean knew he would most likely lose his bet to Clyde. But he didn't want to leave here and go back to Japan without telling Ryley his true feelings.
He wanted to at least confess his feelings to the blond regardless of the answer. After all, he only needed Ryley to know that he had always liked him ever since they met for the first time.
Alas, Sean had no idea that Ryley couldn't answer his calls because he was currently laying on the operating table. He couldn't feel the pain because he was given sedation.
