"No, of course not." Lucas sighed. He had no idea if Ryley was too dense to understand the way Sean treated him, but as someone who had watched both Sean and Clyde throughout their lives, Lucas also noticed the change in the former's attitude.
Sean had never been so caring to an outsider despite his calm nature. But he showed so much attention to Ryley like he was trying to chase after him.
"So why don't you want me around Sean?" Ryley asked.
"Because he and Mr. Clyde are not on good terms with each other." Lucas broke the news to him, but the blond replied with a chuckle instead. "That's why, I think it's better for you to—"
"If your boss got jealous of his own nephew then that's on him!" Ryley laughed thinking that what Lucas said was so ridiculous. "Like... Come on, that's so stupid. It doesn't even make sense."
