Alex lifted his surprised gaze at the guy's straightforward tone, he couldn't help it because the dish Gabriel ordered reminded him of that man.

But Alex still patiently answered after heaving a quiet sigh, "It's been a long time since I saw honey glazed spare ribs."
"Huh? Is it because you're vegan?" Gabriel let go of his sulk after his eyes darted to the fruit salad Alex ordered.
"No, no. I'm not a vegan." Alex chuckled. "I can still eat meat just not ribs."
Gabriel started chewing and was about to ask further, but the sound of his vibrating phone distracted his attention.
He opened the message which appeared from Clyde with his mouth stuffed full, but then accidentally choked as soon as he saw the content. "Cough! Cough!"
