Before reading further:
The experiences I'm trying to portray in this story are obviously not 100% relatable in real life, but I do hope that readers can still find moral lesson, comfort, motivation and even entertainment from the characters.
I am a big fan of conspiracy and mystery, also characters that aren't dumbed down for the sake of tear-jerking empathy. That's why some characters are heroes of their own story and villains in the other's. There is a long thread of problems that I need to break down slowly, one by one, but I'm not going to solve them using the one arc one problem writing.
I write with the mindset of avoiding intellectual property theft (basically not wanting anyone to make a carbon copy of my book and recycle them with different names, etc.), that's why I put the foreshadowing and foundation for conflicts in future chapters way earlier before the actual execution.
