Ryley almost choked on his own silent gasp at the man's magnetic voice.
He rolled his eyes fast and threw his face away, trying to cover his embarrassment, but Clyde caught his chin and stole a kiss from his lips again.
"Don't do anything reckless. Lucas won't restrain you, so don't push him away." Clyde reminded him.
Ryley pouted his lips and replied with a faint blush coloring his cheeks. "I know. It's just that..."
His words hung in the air as his searching gaze landed on the Alpha's face.
The blond might not have said it directly, but he believed Clyde knew what was in his heart.
Should this man betray his feelings one day... Maybe he'd just have to convince himself that he was doing all this for his own selfish reason.
But if Ryley had to be honest... Never in his whole life had someone other than his parents managed to become a part of his weakness.
