"Well... I'm just wondering why you were playing with your knife instead of sleeping." Yves whispered under his breath, gaze wandering far to the still dark sky. "Have you been awake since last night?"
At the end of his words, a momentary silence came with the cold breeze. And only after a while did Tristan finally answered.
"Aren't you afraid I'm going to tell you anything but the truth?" He asked instead, "Do it. I want to see if the power will work on a royal blood like me the same way it does to ordinary people."
The blond exhaled an exasperated sigh and pursed his lips sourly when he heard it. "How am I supposed to use that power with this Omega body? Of course I can't." Yves said, "I don't have that power with me, Tristan. You can rip open my chest and drink the blood straight from my heart if you don't believe me."
