Just as the towering man turned his back and descended the staircase, Ryley insisted to chase after him. "No, wait! If he really has a debt then show me the proof!"
The man halted his steps and pulled out a brown envelope from underneath his jacket, then tossed it at Ryley's chest with a scoff.
"That whore borrowed money while still working as a dancer overseas and then disappeared after that. Hah! Turns out that he's been hiding here all this time!"
Ryley opened the brown envelope and saw a bank record that showed a list of transactions from a few years ago, all to which signed under the name of Jihan Attia.
As he was about to rush down the staircase, Lucas caught his arm and shook his head. "Sir, we can't risk confronting an armed group here. It's not safe."
"B-but we haven't interrogated Jihan about the late owner!" Ryley interjected, "I don't believe he's clean! He must have done something that led to Mr. Kemal's sudden illness!"
