The boy rose to his feet and patted the trace of a boot's sole on his practically torn shirt. He winced a little, enduring the pain that crunched his stomach while still trying to drag himself and leave the room.
But Ryley blocked his path, making him instantly stop in his place. "What are you trying to do? There's many guards outside, they'll kill you without hesitating," he warned with a serious look.
"We're even now. You won't help me to get out for sure," the curly head replied with a dry chuckle.
His head was so heavy that his body swayed a little, but Ryley quickly caught his arm and supported him. "Don't force it."
"Why are you helping me? I almost killed you, remember? Stop faking your kindness," He said, brushing off the blond's hand and let his body hit the wall, slowly sliding down to the floor.
