"L-Lord Sorcerer..." The shorter figure mumbled, scratching the back of his neck. "I have to go now. If you still have questions, the files in that USB flash drive will answer it for you."
But before he could escape from there, Lucas caught his arm in such a strong grip.
"Kkkgh! It hurts! Let me go!" The man protested, but Lucas ignored him and leaned closer instead.
"I have another question," he growled in a low voice, "These files won't suffice for an answer."
"Wh-what do you mean?!" The man trembled violently, his height gradually shrinking in the face of Lucas' piercing gaze.
"If Gracia Clark hired you first, why did you turn to Lord Sorcerer then?" He asked, "Did Lord Sorcerer tell you to betray her?"
Hearing this, the man let out a sharp scoff. "Are you fucking serious? Lord Sorcerer paid ten times the amount Gracia Clark gave me. It's all only business dude, money speaks like God's divine words here. No hard feelings."
