Tears dropped from the corner of her frightened eyes, feeling heartbroken at how much of a disappointment she had become for her own son.
"What do you mean by that? S-Sean, I...."
Claire always tried to be fair to her children, but she never realized how big of a mistake it was to see things only from the surface.
"You're my mother but it's like I'm someone else's son to you." Sean muttered, tormenting Claire with the pained look on his face. "Is it because you never loved my father? Or is it because your brother is more important to you?"
Growing up, Sean had always been calm and composed, even way more mature than his age. He had never shown any hostility or jealousy towards his other siblings especially Clyde, nor disobeyed his mother's order to respect him.
