The question came so out of the blue, and it's only normal that Clyde misunderstood it.
The Alpha thought Ryley was asking if he would really do it all once he came back from Germany.
He let out a deep breath and pulled some tissues on his working desk to clean up the mess. Then a wide smile crossed his handsome face.
"Do you think I'm lying?"
The ambiguity in his answer made it even more confusing, Ryley blushed and his heart that had just calmed down returned to pound hard, thumping with mixed feelings.
But then he jolted to sit and shook his head to clear his mind.
The blond remained silent for a moment. So far, only Alex and Martin knew his 'secret'. Ryley didn't even tell his parents about it.
He wanted to tell Clyde the truth, but he recalled that Alex said he shouldn't tell anyone especially an Alpha about it.
The memory from the day he almost risked his life for asking a question during high school returned to his mind.
