"My brother?"
Clyde was pretty surprised to hear it.
"Yes, your brother. Uh... What's his name again? I'm really getting old, aren't I? I forget things easily nowadays." The old lady said as she scratched her head confusedly.
Her voice faded at the silence that came unanticipated.
If Clyde hadn't been careful with his attitude in front of this kind old woman, the sound of his palm tightly clenching into a fist would've echoed through the silent lobby.
Gabriel nudged Ryder's arm and asked as he leaned closer, "Why are they suddenly silent? What did that grandma say just now?"
However, Ryder didn't move in the slightest to answer Gabriel's question.
His green eyes were deep as he stared at Clyde's lonely back.
