Jackie walked through the streets of Gotham City, the sun coming out on the horizon behind him. He decided to prolong going back to the hotel. And instead He was on a mission, to make money so that he could begin to build his own Mafia family. Jackie thought that he could make a fortune selling small amounts of the Lazarus pits water.
He devised a plan to sell small amounts of the Lazarus water to those who were in need of its healing powers. He knew that if he could find the right customers, he could make enough money to start his own Mafia family.
Jackie was determined to find a store that sold small glass flask containers, fit for storing water from the Lazarus pit. That way he can sell it in small batches one by one and if anybody wants more they would have to buy more batches therefore creating a need and demand for it. Where he would be able to raise the money as much as he wants and nobody would be able to do a thing about it.
Jackie had made it to Gotham Citys Central hub, a dark and dismal place, full of chaos and despair. He made his way through the streets of Gotham City, searching for a store that sold the containers he needed. The streets were filled with the hustle and bustle of daily life, but there was also an air of despair. Everywhere Jackie looked, he saw people in need.
As he walked, he noticed the many alleyways, and the shadows that hung in them. He felt them calling to him and inviting him in. he felt a sense of peace in the shadows and darkness calling him and trying to invite him in. It was a wonderful feeling to have the feeling of being loved by the darkness and shadows themselves.
Eventually, Jackie came to a small store tucked away in a dark corner of the city. It was a mercantile, and it sold all sorts of supplies. He went inside and asked about the containers he needed, but the shopkeeper shook his head.
"Sorry, we don't carry those here," he said.
Jackie thanked him anyway and left the store. He had been hoping for an easy answer, but it seemed that he would have to look elsewhere.
He continued his search, now venturing further down the streets of Gotham. He passed by buildings that had seen better times, and also noticed that the people here had a sadness in their eyes. He had heard stories of why this city was so broken.
Finally, after what seemed like hours, Jackie found what he was looking for. It was a small shop, tucked away in an alleyway, and it sold all sorts of glassware. He was immediately taken in by the selection of containers they had, and he started to look through them.
He found the perfect one. It was a small pack of glass flask, just the right size for what he needed. He asked the shopkeeper how much for the pack and he said 30, So he paid the 30 dollars thanked the shopkeeper and left.
Jackie stepped out of the alley into the street, the light of the sun barely touching the sidewalks because of all the smog. The cobblestone street was empty, the shops closed up for the day. Like a shadow, he went from doorway to doorway, trying to find the next location he had in mind.
He had been walking for what felt like hours, searching, trying to find the kind of shop he was looking for. He hadn't seen many people in the street, but he had certainly heard them, whispers in the alleyways, voices behind closed doors, laughter from the bars.
Finally, he found what he had been looking for a shop that was down the alleyway to his right. That had a sign above it that read "Guns and ammo".
Jackie moved closer, peering through the window, trying to get a glimpse of the shop. The shop was dark, the only illumination coming from a single candle in the corner of the room. The shelves were filled with all manner of guns and ammunition, ranging from pistols to larger weapons.
Jackie stepped back, looking around to make sure he wasn't seen. He knew, as a hitman, that he had to always be careful. He was looking for a store with illicit firearms, a place where he could buy ammunition for his pistol without drawing too much attention.
Jackie entered the store, the door creaking open. He nodded to the shopkeeper, a grizzled old man who was smoking a pipe. "Can I help you?" the shopkeeper asked in a gruff voice.
"I need some ammo for my pistol," Jackie said, his voice strong and confident.
The shopkeeper nodded, his face expressionless. He reached under the counter and pulled out a box of ammunition. "Is this good or do you want more". The old man said while smoking his pipe.
Jackie nodded. "That's all I need. How much?"
The shopkeeper named a price of 50 dollars and Jackie handed over the money. He thanked the shopkeeper and left the shop, keeping to the shadows as he made his way out of the alley and back into the street.
He had found what he had been looking for. He had acquired the ammunition he needed seeing that he only had nine in his gun. So he needed more just in case. You can never be too careful especially in Gotham City he came to learn.
Jackie then found an empty parking lot on his way back to his hotel. And he wanted to test the power of his gun so he has a better understanding of it. So Jackie takes out his pistol which he imbued with the power of Darkness and shot towards a glass bottle he set up on a box.
He takes a step back, looking at the crater that he had created with a single shot. He gasps as he sees the spiderweb of cracks that had been formed on the wall behind the broken glass bottle. He had expected it to do damage but not this much damage. The power of the darkness had taken him by surprise. Jackie stares in awe at the extent of the destruction he had caused with a single shot.
He couldn't help but get excited about his potential and capabilities of the darkness. If it did that much damage with just a regular pistol he can just imagine what it would do with a high caliber desert eagle or even a Ak 47.
Jackie decides he did enough for the day and that he needs some good old rest for tomorrow. So he starts to head back to his hotel. And Jackie couldn't help but be excited about the future because he's finally making his dreams a reality. Soon he will become one of the greatest Don's and everybody will know his family's name, And there will be no one who can stand in his way.
Jackie then reaches his hotel and runs into the female owner and pays her another 140 dollars to stay there for another week. Until he can get a better living environment for himself. He then heads upstairs back into his room and starts to fill up the pack of small flasks he got from the store with the liquid from the Lazarus pit. But before he sells it he wants to use it and see if it really does have the ability to heal him.
So Jackie takes the knife out of his belt pocket and slices his palm with it. He then dumps the liquid onto it. And is amazed when he starts to see it regenerate at a quick speed. "Alright all that's left is to get a good night's rest and start making money". Jackie thought to himself before he laid down on his bed and drifted off into the realm of sleep.
