Synopsis
The System the same old story heroes and villains being chosen for generations as long as history has been recorded villains and heroes will rise and the system to help them. After years of the system doing the same thing rise and fall the system created the lineage for having a champion it is known as "The King's Banquet", in if you survive you can have as much fun as you can be a villian a hero or a grey hero. The chosen champion if they succeed they can forcibly choose the sucessor even centuries after death. The last Champion for obvious reason's decided there should be a safety net for the future successors so he added the luck attribute. It prevents you from dying but at the consequence of your abilities, youth, strength, mind, or even powers. As a form of the System's retaliation the system for all who use it especially the champions all missions more difficult so as they arise the people who used the system became both weaker and stronger. We start of with a young man (a coward) hearing the myths and legends of heroes and villains in amazement and bliss to something he could not obtain. He wonders and brings the connection between the system (something he was not familiar with but had heard of on a few occasions) and the heroes and by sheer chance is offered a choice "Would You Like To Take Part In The System's Entertainment?" The young man a complete coward, stares at the screen thinking the correlation caused this but fears of the possibility of training and hardships he may have to face but a missed opportunity if he let's it slip he had no idea what to do so he sits there waiting for inspiration, someone to make the choice for him or a sign at the very least. No sign comes he stares at the screen awkwardly, in a latch ditch decision he chooses yes. He is offered with multiple choices and for the System's amusement many classes are locked and as little information as possible is given which are brokenly quoted from the master of their classes. As a form of a safety net after reading the description of knight he decides to choose it but an error arises and he is no longer given a choice. But out of help the last champion overrides the system in a latch ditch effort and gives him the chance to be a drunkyard else he would not been given a class and would of been given an impossible task. P.S.:The System has a dark sense of humor and likes to play what would be considered cruel jokes in human terms but the system knows of no such thing.

Chapter 1 - The Drunkyard Class?

Prolouge

After being presented with a choice in which he must make, he has to choose the comfortability of the life he presently has or a life of total uncertainty. Hexion realizes this will enviable change his life and fears what uncertainity will bring. He sits patiently under a tree thinking of what followed up to this and contemplating of what to do next. If he says yes he will go into a realm of almost guarenteed uncertainity, unknown possibility, potential and most scary of all failure.

He waited for an answer to similarly to a black heron waiting for its meal to approach he feels as if someone else should be chosen as well as someone else should choose the answer for him but he neither wants to look like a loon nor a choice made for him in which he did not feel comfortable with, well that of course is besides that the fact there is no one near him for hours in any direction.

As he is waiting for a sign or message to hit him or simply the courage to say yes or no, he could not, for he feared if he does and does not he will regret both decisions scared of what to do next a text bubble appears and says 10 seconds remaining. Being caught of guard he does not know what to do and frantically slaps the screen with his hand he looks in front of him toward the screen to what he just done, he clicked yes. A flurry of text bubbles appear each saying something different he could not imagine what he had just done.

Before a main screen reads "1378 rankers exist at this present moment"

He is both confused and scared, he thinks about and he was surprised as he thought his hand slapped in the place of the text box that said no but he has no time to worry about that. In front of him he is presented with 16 more choices but he would only be allowed to choose one and was unsure if there was a right or wrong answer. He then realizes that the number of rankers in front of him had gone down by 43, he breaks into a cold sweat and just realized what he had gotten himself into.

He looks at the 16 classes and tries to figure out what to do but the fear after hearing the deaths of rankers clouds his focus. He forces himself do something and he feels the need to just breathe and think of a way out of his situation. He decides the best mode of action is to walk to boost his clarity and focus. Unexpectedly or Expectedly the text box follows him around and begins flashing since an answer has not been chosen. He notices in the corner of his eye but decides to ignore it for the time being because he does not want to think about what he had done. He calms down and looks through his choices.

After looking through his choices he considers Knight because out of all other choices there would be a significantly less chance of danger, but he wondered if this was compared to combat engagements or just to the ranking system (jobs/being hunted). He thought about a performer as it would gain him money and popularity but he advised himself against it because the attention would not always be good. As he started to finish his choice a question in his head popped up that did not go away why so many of the titles lower cased but he realizes he not have time to be concerned about that as the official number of rankers went down again and this time it was by 87 he justs hopes it was for illicit activity and not from being a ranker. He could only imagine the consequence for even being associated with the system much less being apart of it, he knew when there was something rare there would always be people chasing after and it. Once he realized this he would not have the luxury to think the same, be associated with the same people, live in the same area, on top of that constantly in fear, the depth of everything hit him continued to get deeper every minute he thought.

He then settled that definitely the line of action would be a Knight, not to mention he could get recognized and live comfortably later on. He nervously moved his hand towards the screen while he tried to control his body from trembling. The text box appeared again telling him "30 Seconds Remaining Please Choose A Class" the only problem was when he clicked ok to acknowledge the information the box did not go away and kept appearing again and again all over the screen while the time slowly went down. It appeared there was nothing else he could do as he braced and feared for the worst the text boxes changed all saying insufficient answer in a glitched manner. The screen then appeared to turn off and reboot with one black text box and a faunt in a deep dark crimson saying "Choice Is Insufficient Your Choice Is No Longer Relevant; Drunkyard Class Has Been Chosen, Do You Accept?" He was in bitter shock and fear he tried clicking no but it would not work he started to cry and shake, he knew now that he could no choose any other answer and was forced to choose yes. He slowly began to calm down and after a few minutes of breathing he thought to himself what could be the danger of just drinking, the worst he thought would be making a show of himself and ruining his reputation.

It was then that a text box appeared in front of him in that moment he began to scan through the three choices and began to weep bitterly thinking of who he might loose of he fails.
