Seokjin's POV
*He walked through the rough path of the forest and kept his pace slow. Fear creeping through his veins as he kept going deeper and deeper into the woods. The rustling of leaves and hooting owls made it even worse.
He kept going deeper in order to reach his destination. He would stop a little to think over if he took the right direction and then continue walking once his mind would calm down.
"Reach the glow and you will find your answer, make sure to not turn back once you enter the forest or it will cost you your life" , a certain someone had said those words to him and he felt obliged to follow them. Before he could ask further questions he found himself standing in between nowhere covered with dust and surrounded by huge trees. By the look of it he was nowhere near the glowing object he had been looking for and the night seemed to take over making the forest look even scarier than it already was.
He took the path and followed it without looking back since he had entered this maze. He knew it would cost him his life if he made any wrong moves but what he couldn't understand was why was he following orders from someone he did not even see the face of. His trail of thoughts was interrupted by a loud howl.
As of instincts his legs began moving faster and by the time he could process anything he knew he was running even deep into the forest and he was sure he had long forgotten the way out of this place. Alongside his footsteps ringing in the silent night there were loud thumps coming from within the darkness.
He kept running and running what felt like ages as the thump kept growing louder, he came to an abrupt halt falling on the ground with a shriek when a large figure stepped in front of him. Just as he was about to stand up, the figure came into light and there in front of him stood in all his might, a huge wolf.
He would be lying if he said he wasnt scared. The wolf had glowing red eyes that screamed danger and his fur was as dark as the night sky above him. It shone so bright under the moonlight that nothing seemed to be as beautiful as the creature in front of him.
"Please... no dont kill me please.." he whispered to himself causing a loud growl to emit the wolf. It almost looked like the wolf had responded to his prayers.
The wolf took slow steps forward to where he had fallen butt-first on the ground causing the little male to scrape further away, earning another growl from the animal in front of him.
He paused and carefully looked at the creature standing tall. Why was it not killing him already. He sure was in a pretty vulnerable state and yet the wolf had not attacked him but kept walking closer which seemed like in protection.
He stood back from his fall and faced the big guy looking into its glowing eyes that seemed to be angry, on what he wasn't sure. He stood there staring at its beauty until his eyes landed once again on those red ones. He tried looking into the same direction they were staring at which caused him to turn on his track and before he knew it something as huge as the wolf had pounded on him with sharp teeths and mouth open wide ready to kill.*
My eyes jolted open and sweat dripped from my forehead. 'Did I just see myself being protected by a wolf and get killed the next moment?' This was by far the weirdest of my dreams.
There was still an hour before my alarm went off so I decided to use that time to make myself breakfast and take a long shower. I sure needed one in my dream. I chuckled to myself as I went towards the kitchen to prepare myself something lavish to eat.
After almost 20 minutes of being in the kitchen I got myself pancakes, toast and strawberry milkshake. Well you cant blame a growing man, now can you? I giggled at my self-explanatory remark and made my way to the washroom once I had finished eating everything set on the table. After 20 more minutes spent in the shower I finally got dressed up for university and left my building.
The neighborhood I was in was pretty nice. No one really interfered in anyones personal matters and that seemed to be okay with me. I mean I would prefer being alone anytime of the day rather than be a part of huge crowds. Attention was never meant to be for me, and by attention I mean the good one.
I made my way to the bus-stop, there were still 10 minutes till the bus arrived so I pulled out my phone plugged in my headphones and waited. Humming along the lines of my playlist, I started feeling uneasy. I looked around to see if anyone was looking my way but everybody seemed immersed in their own morning routines. Weird. I thought to myself and shrugged off the uneasy feeling making my way to the bus that halted before us on the stop.
I took my usual seat in the back and increased the volume of my headphones in order to block any outside voices. My routes were the same almost everyday. Home to university, then to work and then back home without missing any single day. Except the weekends when I only had to go to work.
It may seem like a fairy tale going to one of the well known universities and being a part timer. But when your life is a mess, everything seems like a constant ride through hell. When every other person in the university looks down on you and speaks ill of you attending classes become difficult. When your boss keeps your money to himself saying that it got cut off for some shitty excuse, you find yourself stuck in a dark hole with nowhere to escape.
Well be it anywhere I always felt out of place. The people in our university were definitely rich kids that actually had the money to attend classes without worrying about missing any day out. On the other hand I would dare not miss any day because first, university was something I attended with difficulty and second, my fees was on the bases of scholarship. So, I definitely could not take it for granted. Then on the other hand, my workplace was the shittiest thing that ever happened to me. As much as I needed the money I hated my job. Not because it was something inappropriate but because no matter how much I worked nothing seemed to impress my boss or get my payments on time. With the salary I got, it was barely enough to pay my apartments rent and that too in installments.
My train of thoughts came to a pause when the bus stopped at my destination. I got off the bus and made way towards my universtiy. Taking in a sharp breath, I walked straight into the main gate of the building ready for the stares and disgusted looks I would get upon entering.Â
"Just like any other day, you can do it!" I said to myself and walked inside keeping my eyes locked to the floor.
Just as I entered the attention was all on me. Heads turned to look at me for reasons I wasn't quite sure off. Not like my clothes or anything for that matter were marked poor. The stares and looks would always scream of disgust. I kept walking and stopped once I reached my locker.
Opening it up I took out my necessary books and kept my bag inside. Just as I was about to close the door it got shut forcefully with a loud bang. I froze in my act and turned to face my biggest fear.
"Soekjin... How are you?", Kim Yohan stepped closer and leaned in to make eye contact with me.
"Are you ignorning me? I will feel really bad if you do you know!" He said faking a sad expression.
I knew extremely well that he was anything but sad right now. I tried my best to look at him but looked back down once I noticed how close he was to my face.
"Dont you like it when I stand so close to you, Jin? Now you are making me look like the bad guy" he said inching even closer to me. I tried moving my head but got blocked between the locker and Yohan's face. I turned my face to the left to only get it harshly pulled back in place by rough hands.
"Dont try to move away from me" Yohan almost growled at me. I closed my eyes as I was extremely afriad of what would happen next. Just as expected, I received the pain of the harsh blow delievered to me. Followed by a couple of more punches and hits on my stomach.
Before I knew it, I was on the ground bleeding from all the harsh beating.
"Weakling" he said loud enough for everyone standing close by to hear and left with his fellow gang members. I was aware that by now I had huge cuts and brusies all over.
"Ah he ruined my face again" I sighed to myself as I got up and tried cleaning myself a little bit, enough to enter my first class as it was about to begin.Â
Just as I sat down on my seat in the far back corner of the class, the bell rang and walked in Mr. Ryan, our english teacher. He was amazing as a teacher but he could easily be distracted and most of the class usually went by him telling us about his childhood and by the end of almost every class, he would end up giving us assignments about topics that were boring. Today was the same but before he could start class, he had a little announcement to make.
"Class, lets all welcome the new transfer students, I hope you all are going to be great support to them just like how you are to each other" as Mr. Ryan was done speaking, in came 3 students, the transfer ones he just spoke about. They had scary vibes emitting from them and I shivered lightly on my seat as the atmosphere seemed to have gone cold. I looked around to see if I was the only one effected or did it bother the others too, but it seemed everyone had their eyes fixed on the 3 handsome boys that had entered the class.
"Please introduce yourselves boys" Mr. Ryan exclaimed happily, probably the only one happy by their presence here.Â
"Hey it's Jeon Jungkook. Nice to see you all" the first guy spoke flashing a bunny smile our way. His black hair curled up on his forhead and covered his eyes. No matter how intemidating he looked when he had entered the class, the smile made him appear as a cute bunny.
"The names Kim Taehyung, let's all support each other through out the year" the second spoke with a huge grin across his face resembling a box, almost and waved a little hello to everyone who sat in front of him. He was very handsome, almost like a model because of his sharp features and his red hair standing out.
"Min Yoongi" the last one spoke without bothering to say anything else looking at the far end wall of our classroom. He looked so fragile as his milky skin shone under the class lights. His silver hair made him look even paler than he already was but I never saw someone look this gorgeous with such hair. For a second our eyes locked and his light brown ones almost pireced through my soul, but I was faster than flash to look outside the window beside me to let go of the giddy feeling that build inside my stomach.
By the look of it the other two, Teahyung and Jungkook, looked younger than the one named Min Yoongi. He looked almost my age maybe younger, but that didn't stop him from looking extremely intimidating. All three of them were pretty handsome as well as had very strong aura.
"Please go and take your seat beside Park Jaehan, Jungkook and you with Lee Songi, Taehyung and Yoongi please sit next to Kim Seokjin. Thankyou! Till they settle, the rest of you open page 34 of your textbooks and start analyzing the summaries." Mr. Ryan said and turned his back to write something on the board.
"Great" I muttered to myself a little annoyed and started working on the summary that the teacher asked to do.
"Move" I looked up to see Yoongi standing beside my desk holding his book in hand and a bottle in other. I looked at him confused unintentionally raising my eyebrow in a questioning manner.
"Sorry, what?" He looked annoyed and instantly snapped, "Move your stuff, I need to sit" I then realized that my bag and books were on the other desk. I usually kept my books that way because well nobody really sat beside me so it had become a habit to use the two seats for myself. I quickly removed my belongings from his desk and apologized.
He sat down and sighed, taking out his textbook and working on the task assigned to all of us by Mr. Ryan.
"Once you all are done make your partners read your summaries and let them find out anything they feel to question about" Mr. Ryan said earning groans from half the class. One of them was Yoongi who sat beside me resembling a time bomb that would set off any minute.
"This is going to be a long day" I sighed to myself and looked at the piece of paper in my hand scribbling the points I had to write down for my summary.
