Saff taking two steps back to give Emy enough space to breathe, while not breaking his gaze from the beautiful woman in front of him as he pulls a brown handkerchief at the back pocket of his pants, and gently raise his arms reaching her face to wipe her lips, cleaning up the watery residue from their passionate kiss.
Emy feeling like all her blood goes up to her face now as her ears are burning hot because of the embarrassment not only because of the passionate kiss that they had but also after it that Saff is gently dabbing the soft cotton fabric on her lips that it made her looked away from Saff, turning her head to the side as soon as Saff is done wiping up her lips to avoid his gaze.
Trying to hide her red cheeks from him, Emy looked down as she gulped, unable to talk anymore as if all the words slipped down her throat. The taste of Saff's kiss still lingers in her mouth, and although she hate to admit it but the kiss was so sweet that it made her speechless and wanting for more, from his soft lips and warm tongue to the way his gentle touch caress her body, these made her feel something she haven't felt before even the time when she was still married.
Emy has no plans on telling Saff how it affected her but if she could put it into words then she would tell that it reminded her of the feeling when she was still a young girl whose fascinated with stories of fairytale, dreaming of having his own prince charming who would sweep her off her feet with a sweet kiss as they live a happily ever after.
Emy looks alluring with her innocent and shy stance, thought Saff to himself as he slid the handkerchief back to his pocket after wiping his lips as well. The image of them having a passionate kiss still lingers in his mind and it made his lips curve into a smile, but also makes him worry at the same time because of her silence, so he says "speak what's on your mind Emy…Please say something".
Still unable to face him, Emy then speaks "You should say sorry for what you did", her voice low but audible for Saff to hear as she move her right arm to hold the other on the elbow part as if comforting herself.
"Saying sorry are only meant for the mistakes you regretfully did, so I won't say sorry because I don't regret any of it…And even if you turn back the time, I would still willingly do it" Saff said, his words are solemn with his gentle voice that could melt every woman's heart right now.
Hearing his words, Emy turn her head to meet Saff's gaze and then she says "This will never work, Saff...", her voice trailed off feeling a sliver of pain at the sad reality that she expected to be the outcome.
Saff took a step forward, just enough to reach her left hand, holding it with his right hand while gently caressing her forehand with his thumb as his stare slowly shifts from her hand to capture her hazel eyes that is staring back at his brown ones that filled with burning passion towards her.
"How can you be so sure if you haven't even tried yet? And even if it fails, we will find a way to work it out and I will always find a way to work things out between us… Isn't that what love is? Taking risks and working out the relationship to have our own happy ending. You just need to have faith in me, Emy" Saff stated as he slightly bent down to level his gaze with his lips curved into a smile.
His words came as if hitting the right spot in Emy's heart that tears filled up her eyes once again and before she can fight it back, the warm liquid already streams down her cheeks. Saff raise his other hand to place on her cheeks as his thumb gently wipes off the tears there, it made him worry as it's his second time seeing her cry today.
Saff then continue to speak "I know you like me too, I can feel it Emy...it's just a matter of time for you to accept it. I don't want to rush this relationship because I don't want you to be pressured about my feelings...I want to take this slow, like what I have said before on taking your time. I can wait until you have the courage to hold my hand and dive into the sea of risks with me" he pulled her close to him, resting her head to his chest as he is taller than her while hugging gently in his arms, trying to make her calm from crying.
Emy is quite aware all along with her feelings for this young man, and Saff is right that she just wouldn't accept it all this time because of the reasons that were needed to be considered. However, hearing those heart melting words from him made her lose grip on everything that she was trying to control from the beginning, and it's becoming clearer now that she has failed to avoid this young man from fully capturing her heart.
As soon as Emy slowed down from crying and sobbing, Saff pulled himself to release her from his arms and took out the handkerchief once again to gently wipe her eyes and cheeks. Staring directly at her puffy hazel eyes who is also staring back at his brown eyes, Saff says "now I want to say sorry for making you cry" he gently smile like a breathtaking angel in front of her.
"That handkerchief is very useful today" Emy said in a hoarse and shaky voice as her lips curved into a smile.
Feeling finally relieved as Emy had spoken back in her usual humor, Saff leans closer to place a gentle kiss on her forehead while holding her shoulders as both of them closes their eyes as if savoring the moment with the calmness and joy that they gave to each other, before Saff pulled Emy to the piano as they go back on working with his song.
When evening came, both Saff and Emy went out of the music room as he goes back to their exclusive room, while Emy went back to her desk. Noticing that the other desks are all clean and tidy, Emy realized that the managers had already gone ahead of her. Checking the time, it's already seven in the evening. She lost track of time at the music room, and the image of their kiss flashes back again in her mind the moment she thought of that room, she immediately shoo it off before her cheeks get red again.
Emy went out of the building but before she could walk out of the gate, she saw a luxurious black Mercedes car, parked right at the front of the company's exit glass door. The window was already rolled down into half open as usual, and Saff is sitting at the driver's seat holding his Smartphone to which it seems like he was typing something.
Emy just stared at him, after all it would be rude if she would already assumed that Saff is waiting for her and just hops in his car. It took her minutes, just standing there and waiting for him to notice her, so when he finally did shifted his gaze from his phone to her, Emy is quite startled at his attention.
Saff then smiled at her and he motioned his head implying for Emy to get in his car, as if being hypnotized, Emy obediently enter his car before she asks "Why are you still here? Aren't the other members already gone back to your dorm?" her tone confused and surprised as he didn't expected seeing him at this time.
"I wanted to take you home...that's why and I already informed Taylor about it, I was sending him a message" Saff answered with a warm smile on his face then he started driving.
The street are busy at this time of evening as there are plenty of different cars passing their side, many are rushing to get to their destination as today is Friday, some will have their social night, while some are just like the two of them, heading home for the weekends. Emy likes to stare at the city lights whenever she travel at this hour, the street looks very alive with it as she enjoys the cool breeze that brushes to her cheeks, this gave her calmness.
"Do you have plans for this weekend?" Emy heard Saff asked, so she turned her head to look at him as his eyes fixed on the road while driving.
"Hmm...nothing grand, just quality time with my family", Emy remembered that the production team were given a weekend break to rest as compensation from their busy schedules this past week, and also for them to get ready on the following week as their schedule will be loaded again.
"How about you, any plans?" Emy continued, and Saff answered as he looks at her from time to time, "Hmm...Nothing grand, just continuing the song" he smiled at her as he copy her words, Emy smiled back but at the back of her mind, she wanted to frown with the thought that it's still work for him even on weekends.
