The rest of the journey was a slow and treacherous trek up the snowy slopes. The snow fell thick and fast here, as the small party struggled. Aranus led the small party treading carefully. He walked most of the time, leading his Erol up by holding it's reins. Azriel was in the middle, while Ashdeer was behind her. Malia was gently propped up against Ashdeer.
Azriel bent down to whisper to Aranus, "Do you foresee more attacks?"
"It's possible," said Aranus grimly. "You couldn't stop at what you were told as usual. You had to only help Malia, but, no you had to kill all those beasts."
"I....listen Aranus. I don't know what came over me. I felt like it was a trance that came over me. I saw it in my mind and I knew this was what I had to do."
"Everything you feel you have to do, you don't need to do, Azriel. You need to learn to control your impulses. One day they are going to get all of us killed." He answered.
