Azriel awoke to the chirping of the birds. Sunlight filtered through the large bay windows in Ashdeer's bedroom lighting up the room. She felt sore all over, but it was a pleasant ache that she felt. She stretched like a cat, and then realized that Ashdeer was not present. The space next to her was empty.
She looked at the rumpled sheets and felt a blush creeping across her face. Flashes and images from the night before came to her, and she grinned. She had never imagined feeling so good, experiencing so much pleasure. Ashdeer had taken his time and patience to make her climb heights she would never forget. She remembered a moment when he had rolled them across the bed, so she was sitting on his lap and made love to her in that position. She had clung to his shoulders and called his name. At another point, he had given her a wicked grin and travelled down to pleasure her with his lips, till she had tears of ecstasy rolling down her face.
