Bella waited for the hour to grow quiet as she got out of bed and quietly tip toed across the room. There was a window in the privy. There was no way she was going to stay here and let any of Ishatar's and Quinn's plans succeed.
It was true that Azriel's story had moved her to tears yesterday, but she didn't even know if it was true. Her grandmother was dead. And the thought of her old and wizened grandmother being a Mage was ridiculous. She had no idea what was going on with these guys, but she was pretty sure that she was not going to stick around and chat with Ishatar tomorrow.
That woman was intimidating as hell.
