The breakup with Aurelia had left Falcon adrift in a sea of emotional turmoil. His heart was weighed down by the weight of their once-perfect, never-possible relationship. Only a week had passed since he had left her crying, but every day felt like a century. Basic acts like making coffee and going for walks seemed like gigantic tasks. 

He had succeeded in averting Orchid's questions, who was adamant in knowing how the date went. What could he tell her? That he had broken up with her on the first date?

He finally decided to tell her that Aurelia had gone back to Lapis Valley. That wretched, wretched place. 

Still, no Lee came. 

Attacks? None. Not even a glimpse of him or his men.
