The world was a haze of red.
Falcon had landed with a soft thump on something soft, but not friendly-soft. It was pulling him inside, whatever it was.
It seemed like the demon realm had a variety of surfaces to land.
Something was blinding his eyes. Falcon realized with a start that it was the sun. But how could the sun be shining so brightly in such a dark pit?
Slowly, he opened his eyes and looked around, only to come to the miserable conclusion that he was on a deserted island, in the middle of nowhere.
His entire body was covered with sand. It stuck to his clothes, went into his mouth, and even filled up his shoes. He was being swallowed by the beach. Falcon grabbed the nearest boulder with some difficulty and tried to pull himself out. The sand had other ideas. It pulled at his feet with all its might and Falcon would have drowned already if the boulder hadn't been there.
'Let me out!' He ordered the sand.
