Swift as lightening, Mars let his arrow fly.
Falcon stared at the arrow sail towards his sister in slow motion, as if it was a scene from a horror movie. Mars had moved like a shadow, his hands coming up to load the bow even as daisy's back was turned.
Then Daisy caught the arrow, flinging it back towards Mars. If Mars hadn't ducked in time, he would have been dead by now.
The arrow embedded itself behind Mars, who stared at Daisy as if he had she had grown horns.
Falcon came next. He pulled up behind her and tried to punch, but she was faster. She almost snatched him in the waist with a knife with a blade glinting like stars. Next, Aurelia watched in horror, as Daisy grabbed her knife after her attack and threw it back at her.
Before any of them had the chance to get up, Daisy had taken Orchid and fled. Lear was gone, and so was the book.
The three of them stared at each other in horror.
