Back at the Bramford's house.
Both Quinn and Tessa watched as Nesta's carriage disappeared before Tessa turned to face him and give him a knowing look, one he tried to ignore but Tessa would not let him.
"Have you told her yet?" she asked
"Told her what?" Quinn asked
"That you are madly in love with her." she answered, winking at him
Quinn tried to side step her and move up the stairs but she was fast to notice and made sure he did not escape. He sighed and looked at her.
"No, I have not." he said
"And why is that?" she queried, surprised he is waiting to tell her when he knows Nestafeels the same way about him.
"Remember, she is supposed to be courted. I want her to have that, so that when she finally makes her choice, and if it is me, it would be because she loves me too and wants to spend the rest of her life with me, not because she felt trapped to reciprocate my love after I have said." Quinn explained to her.
