She would have stopped him if she was aware he wanted to do something of that great damage to her and her family. Everytime she met with Lillian, she could tell the young lady sensed that she knew the reason Nesta left but she could not disclose it to her or anybody else for that matter and the guilt ate at her, and she wondered if she could have prevented this heartache.
"I wish Quinn had listened to me," Tessa whispered to herself, her voice laced with regret. "If he had been honest with Nesta about everything, maybe she wouldn't have felt so betrayed."
