"My lady, why don't you ride with me?" Aris asked her as he picked up her things.
"Ah," she glanced at Daisuke who was already staring daggers at him.
"I think, I should just ride on my own. It will be quite burdensome for the horse," she said, declining his offer.
He laughed as he looked at the man she was looking at. He really was a pain in his life. If not for the strength given by the zodiac god, he would have already done something to eliminate that bastard on his path.
"You are really something, priestess. After all, how can a person care more for a horse than for her own self? That is simply unheard of in this part of the world," he said, helping her mount her horse safely.
"If she has any troubles with riding alone, I will be the one to ride with her," Daisuke said, his blue eyes filled with wrath.
"And who gave you the right to decide for the priestess?" Aris asked bluntly.
