"Can you at least tell me why you brought a complete stranger here?" Daisuke sounded displeased as he paced back and forth.
The topic of their conversation is the thief who just entered his room to 'settle down'.
"I have this undeniable instinct. I just know he could be the one. Besides, his name is Aris. So, it makes even more sense that it is him," she tried to argue.
"You are really a baka. You mean to say, without any proof that he is one of the guardians you have already invited him here. In our headquarters!" Daisuke's eyes were sharp as he looked at her.
She felt a bit alarmed. Surely, it was not her intention to piss him off. But what can she do, she really just relied on her instinct. She did not know how to justify this feeling otherwise.
