"How can I not be scared, after you grabbed me like that and carried me here so brusquely?" tears welled in my eyes, and I was unable to stop them from falling.
He kneeled before me so that my face is now at a level with him, "I never intended for you to fear me. No, I never intended for you to feel anything else except the way I feel for you."
His voice was tender and his demeanor was calm, "I'm sorry for treating you so rudely. I might have lost my mind. I do lose my mind when it comes to you. I like you so much, Maru.
