James and Jane are seen seated in the church that has a few couples in it, facing the altar.
Her head is laid on his shoulder as they stare at the statue of the man that was nailed on the wooden cross.
The deafening silence makes Jane gulp in like a frog that is making that annoying croak that all frogs make.
"I know you wanna say something"
His charming whisper makes Jane freeze like an iceberg. Is he this sensitive and serious with his sensitivity?
"Why haven't you done anything with me yet?"
Jane closes her eyes in hope that his reaction will be a positive one. But all that follows her question is a disappointing sigh coming from him.
Oops! Looks like that came out wrong!
Jane releases a breath and sits upright. Her head off his shoulder and something... Like a new, boiling feeling is rising in her.
James notices this and doesn't hesitate to ask what the matter is.
"What's wrong?"
"It's okay if you don't want to answer. We can leave here already. Kideny and Ken must be waiting for us"
Jane attempts to leave, but stops midway into thin air, feeling the strong grip of the muscled and veiny hand of James.
His veins are popping out of his hand like a wrestler and that is what attracts Jane to him physically and most times.
"Have you heard what I have to say?"
His eyes look pleading. Is he begging her to stay or what?
Jane quietly glues her butt back on the chair she just stood up from and opens her ears wide enough to pick every single sound, including the walk of an ant in the church.
"Let's get to know each other first. Don't you think that's better? I know, coming to my home was a bit of a shock and... Must be pressure, but just be patient with me. Can you do that for me?"
Jane stares into the eyes of James. His light brown eyes piercing through hers in complete and utmost respect and beg of all kinds.
"Are you going to do that? Or do you want it soon?"
Jane... Of course, a rethinker of her steps nods slowly.
"I will do it" she whispers with a shaky voice that predicts whether or not her tears wanna spill out.
James nods in appreciation and pulls her closer to him and Jane laid her head on his shoulder again.
For some reason, Kancial felt sad. He didn't like the fact that Jane laid her head on James and Raven did nothing to him.
Yes, they control the humans now... But he wants to feel her body near his. Her body mixing with his...
He wants to feel her touch, feel her desire, know what her feelings for him are all about.
"Do you see me as a very fit person for you?"
"Hmm... Very fit"
Jane's blood starts to cool down bit by bit, degree by degree... Is he saying this just to get her? Or does he mean it?
Jane smiles as she stares earnestly at the man nailed on the wooden cross on the altar.
"Do you think he's real?" she asks
Kancial smiles from within him. They both came down from where the man dwells, so yeah...
He's totally real.
"Hm-mm. The Creator is real" he whispers and Jane keeps her eyes on the structure.
"Can I ask my questions?"
Jane immediately had a change of temperature.
It was normal a moment ago, but now it's extremely cold.
He has questions too?!!
He brings up too many scenes and his actions can take now questioning, but the doer of those actions got questions? For her? How did this come to be?
"Go on"
Jane sits upright, her ears standing erect ready to pick any sound/word that will eventually escape his mouth towards her. Hope the questions are good ones!
"What do you feel when you're with me?"
The way he places it doesn't sound like the James she knows.
He sounds different.
His voice changed. His accent makes everything a bit sexed up. His appearance is the spice to everything else.
His eyes are calm and gentle, his lips are pressed together like his hopes are about to shut down. His super cool hair makes her blood starts bubbling.
Raven stares into the eyes of Kancial as their spiritual forms slowly connect. Of course, Kancial doesn't look like the body he's in, but Raven doesn't care.
She just wants to be with him.
The church they are in has the seats neatly decorated and they are very shiny. Only a few couples are in the church.
And James made sure he picked the most isolated seat in the front hall. The seat can be seen very well by the other couples seated, but just to make Jane think no one is within sight so that she opens up to him.
"I- "
The phone of James beeps and he digs his hand into his pocket immediately and got the phone out. On the screen is the name of Kideny and it's vibrating like it's an emergency.
"Hello? Kid?"
"Sir, it's already 2:30. Remember the business discussion you have with Mr. Von and Mr. Hyde Parker with your wife"
That is true. They better head home now or they'll miss the couple counseling Mr. Hyde wants to give them.
"Right. We'll be home by 3:30"
"What?!! Mr-"
James hangs up and mutes the phone completely and then turns back to his wife.
"You were saying?"
"Kideny said we should head back"
"They'll wait. They aren't the people married you know"
Jane's eyes pop out like a light bulb. Is he seriously ignoring Kideny just so he can talk to her? That's new.
"I feel- "James' eyes redden the moment a call enters his phone again and this time, the vibration plus the silence is hectic.
He takes the phone out and finds out that Mr. Von is the person that's calling now.
"Mr. Von?"
"James, where are you? Hyde will be here any minute now"
"We'll be leaving here by 3:30"
"3:30? Madam must be sick of all your lectures!"
James rolls his eyes in disturbance and hatred for everyone calling him at this moment.
"James, start coming home, now!"
James says nothing and the call went off. He doesn't bother to call back but turns his attention to his wife.
"Sorry. It was Mr. Von. There is counseling we are to attend by three and... "
Jane stands up from the seat and without looking back at him, she walked past him with her eyes bold, beautiful and angry.
"Jane?"
"Let's go. There's no point in staying here when we have other important things to do"
James' mouth fell like a slump of pizza hitting the floor.
Where did that come from?
