"Raven! It's me! Open up!"
Raven stares at the door and feels the level of anxiety in her, rise to the maximum amount that it can.
That's Kidan's voice. God, it's so good!
Raven stands up from the bed and walks to the door.
She feels like opening the door is some kind of task to her. What if he's taking her to meet Kancial? How will things work out if that's the case?
She reluctantly twists the doorknob and the handsome face of Kidan nearly knocked her off her feet.
Damn! She needs someone to take these thoughts off her brain, unfortunately.
"Kidan?"
He smirks widely and takes a step forward, now looking down at her not minding their severe closeness.
"Hello, Princess"
The smile that erupts on Raven's face knows no boundary. Gosh, why can he be so interrogative positively and at the same time filled with this type of Angelic Lust?
Or are those just her thoughts? Because Angels are not supposed to have a lust towards anyone. Their job is to keep people on earth happy and secured, working for each human that they are assigned to.
That's all. Right?
He smiles, seeing that Raven is in the spirit to make fun with him.
Unfortunately, it's Kancial that sent him here.
They ain't gonna have any fun!
"The tour is up. Kancial asked me to get you"
Raven forced the smile to sustain. She never thought that this will be happening.
Oh, this Prince! Argh!
"O-Okay" Raven turns back into the room and searches the whole place.
Is there anything else she needs? She is okay the way she is, right?
"Okay, I'm ready" she replies, now facing Kidan.
Kidan eyes her with his long eyelashes fluttering as if the scene is in slow motion.
"Let's go then... " he smiles sarcastically and Raven returns it with a childish smile.
"Princess" he completes softly and immediately flaps his wings, causing a heavy wind to blow across the place.
Raven smiles and also flaps her wings with violence, skyrocketing herself into the air and right behind Kidan.
The cold and raging breeze that blows across her is heavy because it's just one flap of wings that is still enabling them to fly out of the High Castle in Heaven.
As the two pop out from the top of the Castle like flies from a bottle, Kidan leads her to where Kenny and Kancial are flapping their wings slowly on air and talking to each other.
"Here she is, your highness" Kancial shoots at Kidan a life-threatening glare, that made both Kenny and Kidan chuckle.
Kancial hates it when he's being called all those stupid titles. It's not going to gain him anything anyway, so what's the stupid title for?
Before anyone told them what to do, Kidan and Kenny flap their wings continuously, flying up and waving a little at Raven, who returns it with a smile.
"I will show you around and you can ask questions if you have any... "
Kancial looks up at the beautiful red-haired Demon-Angel in front of him. She is indeed beautiful.
"But please, accept my brief answers"
Raven says nothing but her eyes calm down a little. Kancial feels a pang of disappointment hit him squarely on the face. That's not how to reply to someone who needs a reply!
Anyway, he gets over it and signaled Raven to follow him.
Raven and Kancial fly up and when they were not too far from the Castle, Kancial turns ba k and Raven also does the same.
"This is the Heavens Palace. Where no Demon is allowed in"
"Then why am I here?"
"Because you are not a Demon"
Raven and Kancial stare directly into each other's eyes and Raven wonder what he means by "... Not a demon".
She was given birth to by Golsie and Xuvicer, what's with that saying? Does he even know who she is?
"That's-"
"You will get to know. Someday" He says and Raven says nothing.
The stare makes her feel uncomfortable because his eyes are changing seasonally.
Why are his eyes' color changing?
"Let's go. We have no time to waste"
The stare elongates before Kancial's eyes finally leave her.
He flaps his wings and then little by little, the more he flaps it, the higher he goes. Same with Raven, who's reluctantly following him with hatred.
If he knows he really hate her, then why lure her out of Hell? What's the big deal with this Angel?
"That is where the upcoming little Angels are trained to be warriors. The most muscular amongst them, for now, is Gabriel"
Just as he mentions the unfamiliar name, mature voices yell the name from the training section Kancial just pointed and that dragged the attention of Raven to where the yell came from.
The place is an open place, so everyone in that section is seen. A white Angel looks up at the sky with a serious look.
But when he caught sight of Raven and Kancial, his expression softened up and with the corner of his mouth raised, he flaps his wings heading to the two going about for the tour.
"Good day, your Majesty. My lady" he greets and portraits and Raven smiles at him kindly.
That a habit of hers. No offense by the way.
"How is your training, Gabriel," Kancial asks with a frown.
Raven's eyebrows shot up at the mention of that name. So this... Is the most strongest training Angel for now? According to Kancial?
This Angel doesn't look like it though. But Raven has always lived with the belief to never judge a book by its cover.
"Doing well, Sire"
Kancial turns to Raven with the Angel beside him for a little intro. Perhaps.
"Gabriel, this is Raven. Raven, this is Gabriel. The strongest training Angel for now"
Gabriel gawks at this saying and wonders what he has done that can possibly make Kancial this rude and all bossy in words.
"A pleasure to meet you, Gabriel" Raven says with a smile and Gabriel also smiles.
"The pleasure is mine"
Raven's hand shot forward for a handshake and the moment Gabriel raises his hand to shake her hand, Kancial pushed her hand lightly but it felt like a heavy metal just fell on Raven.
"Go get back to your training, Gabriel. They might be waiting for you. I guess"
Something is definitely wrong. With the way Kancial is acting like he doesn't shake hands with other Angels, he'll tell him.
Gabriel passes a smile to Raven and she returns it. Then he heads off, and back to the training section.
"We don't shake hands here"
That'll be an understatement. At least, for Raven, that's true.
"Since when did shaking hands become a sin?"
"It didn't. I just don't want you to"
"Are you saying you'll control me now?"
"I am not. All I'm doing is to make sure you don't get into big trouble"
Kancial flaps his wings and flies to the east with Raven maintaining her height and position in the same place he just left her by flapping her wings slowly.
And she thought Heaven got no rules.
