Chapter 1 - Rumo Galoi Yimn

"Rumo, quietly hand over the heavenly demon diary and I'll give you a painless death"

" Little trash, stop attempting to resist, today all of my brothers and I will give you a lesson, how could you attempt to cultivate demonic arts?"

" Galoi worm, you damn bastard, just because you wanted to stop being trash doesn't mean we will just let you cultivate forbidden arts, do you think our Yimn clan is nothing eh?! What our Great Ancestor loved doing the most was killing demonic trash just like you!"

" Demon, you killed your clan brothers just to increase your cultivation, this is not a sin that can be forgiven even in the afterlife! You have committed too many unforgivable, heinous sins!"

" As expected of a Galoi trash, nothing but a bastard blood flows in his vein, how could he understand the greatness of our Yimn clan?"

...

Rumo was in deep brown robes that had been torn to shreds, his entire body was covered in black blood, suddenly, he turned his head and started looking around.

His bloodied robes, combined with the strong breeze made him look imposing, like a powerful general on his last moments.

Blood was flowing from his left arm, his right arm was severed from the shoulder, beneath his feet a large black tinted pool was forming steadily.

In front of him, his fellow clan mates were looking at him, some with disgust, some with contempt, some with fear, some with relief.

The enemies were all around, this was the Great Yimn clan after all, even if he had managed to escape from the youngsters , a single elder would have been enough to capture him, from the start he had no way out.

It was a forgone conclusion that he would die here, still, despite this, Rumo looked calm, as though the one dying today wouldn't be him.

His gaze was quiet, his remaining brown eye seemed like a deep lake, so deep that you could not see the end.

Still, nobody dared to make the last move, they were afraid that he had a remaining card left, a final attack.

For ten minutes this moment went on, until an elder came, his presence was just like a sun casting its rays upon the world. At that moment, it was as if that place was on fire, even the strongest people present had difficulties breathing.

Rumo, who had been impassible throughout the entire scene, slowly turned his body and looked at the elder straight in the eyes.

Looking at him, Rumo lightly laughed " The Sun Elder, what an honor, why must an honored being of your caliber come to this dying man last moments? Are you perhaps here to pay respects?"

The Sun Elder didn't bother responding and started flying down towards him, suddenly, he looked towards the other people present and shouted icily " SCRAM!", in a few seconds only the two of them were left.

At this moment, Rumo knew that those were his very last seconds, as he thought of this, the memories of his previous life on Earth emerged before his eyes.

He was originally a cripple , at the tender age of sixteen he had lost a leg and an arm.

He lived a meaningless live full of difficulties, humiliations and losses, dying of hunger in his thirtieth winter.

He had chanced upon this world, obtaining the body of another cripple, the bastard son of a clan traitor and a whore, a trash who could not cultivate the secret arts of the Yimn.

By destiny, he had obtained a torn diary while cleaning the sewers, apparently belonging to the 13° Heavenly Demon, the plague of the continent.

The diary didn't have much information as most of the pages were rotten, but it had mentioned a secret technique, one used by the Heavenly Demon in his youth, the never ending blood chain, a forbidden art that could allow a normal being to steal the cultivation base of a cultivator.

Unfortunately, he had been too brazen and had attracted the attention of the elders, and, once his secret had been revealed, nothing could have stopped his death.

So many moments, memories that were buried deep inside his heart begun to relive themselves.

" I have lost yet again eh." Rumo sighed, still, he had no regrets.

This ending was something he had expected from the very first moment he had seen the never ending blood chain technique.

He knew he had no chance from the very start, he wanted to try, but still, he was already mentally prepared for this.

Being a demon practitioner means being merciless and cruel, to murder and destroy, killing a few clan mates to become stronger is nothing much, yet, he will die today because of this.

There was no place in this world for people like him before, there is no place today, being an enemy of the world , facing the consequences alone, is something that had been decided before hand by destiny.

Those who are born blessed with talent, even in an hostile environment can still hope to succeed , those without talent born in a favorable environment, even when mediocre will still live a life that is but a dream for most of the people.

As for those who have everything, both talent and background, they are fate loved children's, nothing will ever disturb their growth, any loss, any difficulty will only make them stronger, paving their way towards success.

As for him, a cripple in both of his lives, not much had gone in the right way, deep in his heart he had hoped that with his newfound power he could have changed everything, sadly, good things never last long.

Elder Sun feet had touched the ground, he was already in front of Rumo.

" Kid, you have sinned and you shall die, any last words?"

Rumo, looked straight into his eyes and said nothing.

Elden Sun sighed, and with a scorching punch, created a hole in his stomach.

On the 93° day of the Southern Calendar, Rumo Galoi Yimn had died.
