Chapter 90 - Fight On The Plane...!

As they both conversed among themselves, someone passed...

Raising her head up, the old woman, nudged Temi as she said;

"Well, look who it is...!" Her voice was low in such a way that only herself and Temi could hear.

When Temi heard the old woman, she raised her head look at who the old woman was referring to.

When her eyes and the eyes of the person met, Temi's mind snapped.

Not breaking her gaze from his, Temi watched as he made his way towards his seat.

Slowly walking as he made his way to his seat, Nate reluctantly broke away his fierce gaze from her...

Temi watched him as he made his way towards his seat.

Her eyes narrowed, Temi slightly tilted her head sideways as she watched him with her mind processing.

The old woman also watched him with a deep frown.

But then, when she turned her head sideways to look at the person beside her, she found Temi to be absent-minded.

"Temi...!" The older woman called.

No response.

Calling one more time, the older woman still received silence as a response.

Sighing, the older woman slowly took her hand up to Temi's face as she called one more time.

"Temi...!"

Hearing her name, Temi slowly turned her head and looked at the woman.

Staring into Temi's eyes, the older woman could sense something was wrong.

"Is everything alright, Temi?" The older woman asked concernedly.

Temi nodded slowly.

Staring into Temi's eyes, the older woman wasn't convinced yet.

"Are you sure?" She asked again.

Temi smiled as she reached out for the older woman's hand that was still on her cheeks.

Bringing them both together, Temi wrapped them up in her own hands as she gently caressed them.

"Oh, your hands are cold.

Temi smiled.

Looking down at the wrapped hands, Temi had her mind on two different things...

How was she going to convince the old woman to leave the conversation till tomorrow...?

And how was she going to study that guy...?

All of a sudden, her parents and brothers all pooped into her brain, then she began feeling scared.

What's this feeling...?

Then...

Ethan...

Temi frowned at the picture of him.

Olivia...

Temi's hand suddenly paused as it then increased it's hold over the poor old woman's hand, causing her to fret a little.

Olivia...

Temi narrowed her eyes at that name.

"...Temi...!" Temi heard the old woman call her name.

But as she raised her head to look at the old woman, something flashed past Temi's eyes...

It wasn't the older woman she saw...

She saw something else...

It was her parents...

Her family...

Temi frowned.

What...

Are they kneeling...?

Why did they look so sorrowful?

And to whom...?

Who are they kneeling in front of?

Temi couldn't erase the image from her head, instead her frown got deeper.

"Temi...!"

Temi could hear her father's voice faintly.

When she looked in his direction, she found him to be laying on the floor, looking bloody like as of they had use a machete in him or something.

Temi got confused.

She could also hear her mother's voice pleading for mercy for her father, but by the time, they left him, he was all dead.

Holding his head in her hands, Temi saw her mother shedding uncontrollable tears.

She saw her brothers, all crying.

Troy trying to fight back the tears, charged at one of the armed men, only to be straight ken with a machete across his face, resulting to a massive amount of bleeding.

Her two (2) other brothers were on the floor crying as they both hugged themselves.

"Fight...c'mon Luke, get up and fight...!" Temi could hear herself scream, but there was no reaction...

It seemed like as if she was only screaming to herself...

She didn't know when she fell to her knees and began shedding tears.

Slowly walking in the direction of her two little brothers, Temi's knees felt shaky and they gave way, causing her to fall to the floor...

Slowly crawling towards their direction, Temi gently hugged her brothers.

"Luke...Bryan...Troy...!" She called her brothers' name.

Opening her mouth, words couldn't form.

"I'm here...don't worry...I'm here right now...don't be afraid...!" Temi said as she tried consoling her brothers.

"How I wish Aunt Temi was here...!" Little Bryan said.

"She'd know what to do...!"

Temi's eyes bulged.

It was then that it occurred to her that, she couldn't be seen.

All of a sudden, she felt all sweaty.

And as if something slipped into her ear.

Raising her to her face, Temi wiped her face.

To discover some beads of sweat on her face.

Blinking her eyes multiple times, Temi looked both left and right.

When she looked left, she saw through a window...

Through the window, she could see something like the sea being lighted up.

Turning to her right, Temi found the old woman to be asleep with her head on Temi's shoulder.

Looking to get left, she saw the sea of lights again...

That was when she remembered that she was inside a plane.

Stretching her neck, Temi's head rose over the other sea of heads to find everyone to be sleeping.

Had she been dreaming all this time?

If yes, how long had she been asleep...?

Rubbing her eyes to get the sleep out, Temi gently reached out for the older woman's head that was on her shoulder.

Gently raising her head up, Temi placed her head to rest on the pillow of the chair.

The old woman was not a deep sleeper, so at the slightest movement, the old woman had her eyes popped open.

"Sorry...!" Temi whispered as she apologized shyly.

The old woman smiled.

"It's okay, I'm not a deep sleeper...!" The old woman said sleepily.

Temi smiled.

She didn't gear what the old woman had said, but she knew she had accepted her apology.

"I'm gon' be in the ladies room if you need me...!" Temi whispered.

Gently placing her head to rest on the chair, Temi got up and was about to leave but was stopped by the old woman.

Grabbing her by the wrist, the old woman said something, but Temi didn't grab what she was saying.

Infact she didn't hear any sound at all. She could only see the old woman's lips moving but without words

"Don't worry, grandma...I'd be right back!"

And then gently removing her hand from around her wrist, Temi adjusted the pillow for the old woman, and then setting her shirt right, she made for the restroom.

Looking to her right and to her left, Temi felt strange...

She couldn't hear any sound.

Looking to her right, she saw a man's mouth wide open and she knew he would be snoring, but she didn't gear the sound.

"Odd...!" Temi thought.

But she also she said out loud too, but also didn't hear herself.

Realizing this, Temi hastened her footsteps as she made for the restroom...

When she entered the restroom, the first place she ran into was the toilet stall.

After easing herself, Temi felt relieved.

As she got out of the stall, Temi washed her hands, afterwards, she stared at herself right in the mirror.

As she stared at herself in the mirror, Temi felt something was not right...

Then her mind went to the dream that she had.

Was that dream actually real...?

Or was it a vision or revelation...?

Why does it seem so real...?

'Why do I feel so scared all of a sudden...?' Temi asked herself as she thought.

As she thought, she looked down at the sink, her brows suddenly furrowed.

Staring at the sink, Temi caught sight of someone.

Olivia...

Temi's brows furrowed.

Stabbing her at the back...

She saw herself bleeding profusely as she lied on the floor as though dead...

As soon as she saw that, Temi's eyes grew wide.

As she raised her eyes, she splashed some water on her face so as to relieve herself from her 'hallucination'...

After she had splashed her face with some water, Temi raised her head to look at herself in the mirror.

When she did, she caught sight of something or someone, all in black...

She couldn't see who or what it was as her eyesight was blurry due to the water that she had splashed on her face.

But when she did realize, the person had pulled out a gun from behind and aimed at her...

Quick as a flash, Temi dodged the bullet fired at her as she ducked.

"Whoa...!" Temi exclaimed.

Temi knew she had said something, but she didn't gear her voice...

Again...!

"Have I gone deaf or something...?" Temi asked.

And again, she still couldn't hear her very own self.

But she could hear herself in her head.

Funny...!

Temi thought.
