"Yes I don't just talk because...I don't like insulting the less privileged!" Temi said.
"oOoOO...!" The youngsters present on the plane exclaimed.
Nate frowned deeper.
"What's that supposed to mean...?" He asked.
Looking at him, Temi turned her attention away from him and then plugged in her ear pods.
Feeling someone tap his shoulder, Nate turned back to look behind him.
"Bruh, you just got fried...real bad!" One black guy said.
Understanding what Temi had just told him, Nate turned back to look at her, but she had her eyes closed with her ear pods plugged in in order to prevent the disturbance from the outside world from penetrating into her.
Saying at her for a while, Nate deliberated whether he should call bet attention and give her the words of her life, but then he felt a hand tap him on his shoulder again causing him to turn back.
It was the black guy again.
"Bruh, I think it'd be best if you just let her alone...!" He advised.
Nate eyed him, but thanked him anyways.
Turning back to look at Temi, he muttered;
"I hate toxic girls...!"
Muttering that, he turned back to face forward as he slowly reclined into his seat.
Closing his eyes, he lowly muttered.
"This mission's gon' be really difficult than I thought...!"
And then soon afterwards, he dozed off.
Afterwards, the whole plane became silent.
Hearing the sound of sleep, Temi slowly opened her eyes as a little bit.
Clicking her fingers, Temi turned to look at the person beside her, which was Nate as she narrowed her eyes slightly.
Studying him properly, Temi slowly turned her head back forward, and then turning on her ear pods, she went straight to be playlist on her phone and tapped on a particular song, 'See You Again...!' by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa.
"Let's just see how far you'd get...!" Temi silently said.
Opening one eye, Nate slowly turned to look at her.
With one corner of his lips raised up, Nate said lowly;
"And we'll all set how smart you are...!"
After a little while, everyone aboard the plane, in the first class soon fell asleep, alongside Nate and Temi.
Then soon, noon came and they all had their lunch and went about their businesses...
The few people that were in the first class of the plane alongside Temi were all on their devices as they checked the latest updates based on their various preferences, and Temi was no exception.
Nate on the other hand was boiling the moment he had woken up, but he had kept it hidden, always peeping to see what Temi was up to, he was restless...
Temi on the other hand was not ignorant of this as she would feel the chair move as he always adjusted every now and then to get a glimpse of what she was doing.
Also, peeking from the corner of her left eye, she could feel his gaze on her body.
As she opened her mouth to speak, she was interrupted by a voice.
"Young man, that's bad manners!"
A woman called out.
Someone else, another lady with kids with her began rubbing her forehead slowly.
"Oh God...!" She muttered.
Raising her head up, Temi looked at who was talking, and to whom.
"That's really inappropriate, why would you be interfering with someone else's privacy?"
It was an old woman of the old man's age from earlier on.
She stared right back at Temi, Temi got scared a little bit.
Opening her mouth as she pointed at herself, Temi asked;
"Ma'am, are you talking to...!"
"No, I'm talking to the idiot that's right beside you that's acting like and as if he isn't hearing his name...!" The old woman said.
Turning to ber side as she followed the old woman's gaze, her eyes landed on Nate. He was the person beside her, and the only one at that...
"Hey boy...!" The old man from behind called.
Turning to look behind him, all eyes followed as they wanted to see who was being called.
Pointing at the front, the old man said;
"The lady's callin' ya...!"
Turning in the direction the old man had pointed at, Nate turned to face the old woman.
Meeting the old woman's eyes, Nate shivered...
Her gaze on him was strong as she narrowed her eyes at him.
Staring at him for while, the old woman slowly opened her mouth as she said.
"You don't interfere into someone else's privacy...!" She said sharply.
Nate brows creased.
"What are you talkin' 'bout...?" Nate asked, pretending not to know what the old woman was saying.
The old woman's eyes widened as she stared at him.
"Don't fool yourself boy o...I saw when you were peeping in on the girl's phone...!" The old woman said in a sharp voice.
'That's why I hate being in any place where there're old people...they never keep their mouths to themselves...always wanting to seize an opportunity to ridicule one...!' Nate thought as his brows creased deeply.
"Can you stop embarrassing me in this cabinet, Mum? It's really uncomfortable...!" Thee lady that had kids with her whispered.
"If you like, hate the fact that they're two or more old people on this plane...we make y'all youngsters, so you better respect we old folks, 'cause without us, y'all ain't gon' be known!" The woman said, as if reading his mind.
Nate paused.
'Is she a witch...?' He couldn't help but ask himself, to himself.
Pointing at Nate, the old woman said;
"Let me catch ya peeping into the pretty lady's phone again...ya ain't gon' find it funny!" The old woman's voice was sharp as she adjusted herself in her seat, staring daggers at him.
As she stared daggers at Nate, Nate didn't seize from glaring at her also.
His brows creased deeply as he also gritted his teeth.
'Old people...!' Nate thought.
'They can never just stick to their own business!'
Thinking this way, he sat back deep into his seat as he folded his arms across his chest as he glared right back at the old woman, who now, didn't give him any attention...
As the older woman stared daggers right back at Nate, she adjusted in her seat as she slowly moved her eyes from his direction to the person sitting at his side.
She stared at Temi...
Eyeing her up and down slowly, the old woman said;
"Young girls of these days...always seeking to gain more attention from the young boys...!"
Temi frowned a little as she smiled at the old woman's comment.
She had been smiling ever since the old woman began speaking on her behalf, but when she heard the old woman's comment, her lips couldn't help but get broader.
Then curling up a corner of her lip, the old woman said;
"The fact that I called you pretty doesn't call for you to feel big or something, so don't let your head swell...you're still in a company of elders, so know how you act!" Though, the woman's voice sounded harsh, she had a slight smile on her face.
Hearing the first part of the old woman's statement, Temi's brows subconsciously creased as she smiled further.
She knew the old woman was joking.
Pointing at her for a while, the old woman said slowly;
"Be careful girl...!"
"Don't let that scumbag that's sitting right next to you peep in on your privacy!" The old woman said sharply.
Turning her eyes on Nate, the old woman slowly eyed him as she said;
"Right from the time that he initiated the conversation, I knew right time from the onset that he ain't good a fellow!"
"If you had known from the 'onset', why didn't you say anything right from the beginning...?" One young lady asked.
Eyeing the young girl, the older woman slowly said;
"It's always your type of girls that start up the fight, but would end up calling out to your boyfriend for help!"
The younger girl's eyes furrowed deeply.
"Excuse me...? I...!"
"Hold it prissy, no one wants to know how your life's story is and how you got on the plane!" The old woman said as she waved off the younger lady's comment with her hand as she slowly faced forward.
"oOoOO...!" The younger people in the first class exclaimed as their hands flew to their mouths.
The old woman slowly eyed him up and down as she hissed.
Licking his lips, the old man said;
"You just met your match, Veronica...!" One guy said.
"Yeah, so you better not mess up...!" Another said.
The old man from earlier on whistled.
"You some hot pie, girl...!" The old man said.
"And saucy too...I love girls like you...!"
The youngsters on the plane whistled.
The young lady named Veronica looked tearily at the two (2) guys that had spoken as she pursed her lips.
Meanwhile, the older woman glared at the old man.
"Girl? Did you just call me a girl...?" The woman asked.
The old man smiled but didn't respond.
"I'm eighty four, old man...older than your wife's age...so you should be calling me aunt!" The old woman snapped.
As the old man opened his mouth and was about to speak, the old woman turned her attention back to face forward as she ignored the old man.
After some time, the old woman turned back to look at Temi, to find her staring in her direction.
Surprised at first, the old woman mouthed;
"Be careful...!" And then turned to face forward as she rested her head on the pillow on the seat.
