"So you're telling me you are not originally from this world? And those things in the cavern were part of a race called Skaven and the those children are Elves?" Yuria asked. If it weren't for the things that happened she would scoff all of these things as nonsense. But after what happened a few days ago gave her a new view of a lot of things in this world. Some things really do not appear as it seems.
"Well, at least you are open-minded. Unlike those old fogeys" mumbled Tezariah. Yuria though, did not hear it as she was still internalizing all the information she has received. A silence for a minute or so fell on them.
This silence was broken when Yuria asked another question. "What will you do with the kids and this Skaven thing?" Tezariah was pondered for a moment whether to tell her his plans. Another silence fell in the room.
"First things first, I have to ask those children the reason they are here, their purpose, and what is their connection with the relic. Secondly, I will probably start investigating the Skaven. Their mere presence is a sign of trouble and if needed they should be banished from this world." A cold light appeared in his eyes as he remembered something.
///A few hours ago///
An old man sitting on the roof was looking at the stars. Although he was old, his body was filled with energy. His ability to hide and run was second to none, considering his track record. He silently eavesdropped to the conversation of the two young people below him. He controlled his breathing, his presence and even weakening his heart beat. It came to the point that even a professional would think he was dead. The words and topics of the young man were fantasy-like and weird. If it weren't for the fact that his wife told him about them suddenly appearing in the room battered, bruised and with three new children, he wouldn't believe anything he said.
He looked at the sky as dawn appeared; maybe times are changing like what his friend told him. His gaze went far with his eyes flickered on the passage of time. He sighed and stood, moving in such a way that he did not make any sound. He silently disappeared as the sun rose.
///Present///
After discussing with Yuria for the whole night, Yuria decided to leave to give time for Tezariah to rest. Tezariah sat down and started to medidate, slowly recovering and reinforcing his mana. He also started check his new found power. This time, without a library of magic to give him insights and groundwork for spells, he now had to start to create his magic from the ground up. To a naturally curious Tezariah, this didn't felt like a setback but rather a chance. Like a child, excited to learn new stuff, another flame of passion burned bright in his eyes.
Even back then, he rarely went to the libraries of magic. Only entering to gain insights and ideas but never fully copying the spells or incantations in it. He always had the ability to tweak and improve spell developing many, if not all of the spells to their maximum output.
Opening his spatial space, he took out a book. This book was a record of all his experiences, spells and notes that he made in his life. He started to scribble down using magic his new experiences and notes. Each word carried power and insight, allowing any future readers to gain knowledge even if they weren't necessarily on the same level.
Most wizards were selfish, especially when it comes to magic. Many of them would not share their knowledge unless they were their apprentices or members of their society. There were a few exceptions of course, with some sharing their lifetime knowledge. Still, this mindset of wizards caused the growth of magic society to be slow and only the truly talented people could rise. This gave rise to a sort-of bias in the magic community.
After writing, Tezariah started to begin his daily exercise. He would never forget to train his body even when he felt exhausted. There were always ways to train his body either from exercise or refining it using mana.
His training was interrupted by a knock; this time Yuria learned her lesson and first knocked. Tezariah dried his clothes and himself using magic and told Yuria to come in. She opened the door and told him to come down and eat. She also informed him that his grandfather wanted to talk to him. For what was the reason, she did not know. Both of them arrived at the dining room and sat down.
The five children were playing in the garden once again. While Tenzo was cutting wood, probably to make furniture. Yuria's grandmother was preparing food while his grandfather was watching something called a television.
Speaking of televisions, Tezariah marvelled on this world's various forms of entertainment. It made him feel that his world was lackluster in ways to enjoy. In this world, entertainment were like chickens. Ranging from academics to athletics, one could even say that entertainment has become a craft.
Tezariah sat beside Yuria's grandfather. The old man squinted and looked at him and continued to watch the television.
"We will talk after eating." said the old man. He probably though Tezariah was nervous. Tezariah nodded and also started to watch the television.

[South America]
A logging team were cutting trees illegally. Each one of them were cutting trees left and right. What they didn't notice was the ferocious eyes staring at them.
Slowly...
A spear pierced one of the men. The man screamed. All the other men looked around to see a bipedal Lizard holding a spear. One by one, same such creatures started to appear all around them. The lizard holding a spear shout a certain word and they started to swarm the group of men. Some of men fought back using their chainsaws and guns but in the end, they all fell to the swarms of lizards. All the bodies were dragged away and all that remained at the camp was an eerie silence and trails of blood.
