A gentle nudge on Alice's cheek stirred her to sleep. Alice's eyes blinked slowly. Her eyes felt heavy to open. Alice's head seemed to be spinning as her eyes opened completely.
The little one was seen sitting next to Alice. I don't know what he meant. He wiped the cold sweat on Alice's forehead.
"Oh, what's wrong? You don't have a fever anymore?"
Alice's first question when she woke up was her concern for the little one's well-being. But the little child answered Alice's question with just a shake of his head.
"Why again? Are you still sick? Hatchu!"
While trying to get up and sit down, Alice again asked how the child was, but Alice was seen sneezing.
"Looks like I'm the one who's sick now. Yes, right?" said Alice and the boy nodded quickly.
"You're worried about me little brat? Ouch, you're really cute. But don't worry, my body isn't as weak as you think," Alice said again, lifting one arm up and showing off her small muscles that looked solid to make the little one smile.
After Alice regained consciousness and even though she had to endure the pain in her body and head right now. Alice glanced outside the bartender's table.
Alice stepped around the bar. Then she glanced at her watch, which was already close to midnight.
'I'm so sorry for this kid if he has to stay here. If it was me, I could sleep anywhere, but he's still too small to be in a place like this,' Alice said to herself as she took in her surroundings.
When Alice lifted her head. Her eyes fell on the gap in the slightly open roof.
Because the lighting in this bar is very minimal so that light from outside can be seen from inside through the gap in the roof.
Alice approached the gap in the roof by leaning on a few chairs that were stacked higher.
"Hmm, looks like this roof can be opened. Let me try!" said Alice confidently and then,
'Brugh!'
With a single blow from Alice's fist, the roof made of roof tiles opened.
Then Alice tried to hit the tile on the other side. However, her hands were too weak at the moment.
Only one tile can open and it is only the size of a child's body.
"Hey sweetie, come here! I can help you out of here!" Alice called out to the boy, but Alice only received a shake of the head.
"Come on, please talk! If you just keep quiet, how will I know what you're thinking? Come here quickly! You'll be fine!"
Alice called again, but the boy's response was still the same. The little boy was silent as he shook his head and glared at Alice.
"You don't want to get out of here?"
The boy looked down and looked gloomy.
"You want to be with me here?"
The boy nodded curtly.
"You are a good boy you want to accompany me here even though you are scared yourself."
"Thank you, sweet child, I'm touched. But, if you linger in this place, it will not be good for your body. Also, I heard this bar will only open after two days,"
"And I don't want you to keep waiting here. So, we have to get out. Come on, come on up now, I'll hold the chair. And when you get outside, please get help to open this bar door. I'll be waiting for you, okay?"
Alice tried to negotiate with the boy and he seemed to think.
Alice, who was impatient, lifted the little boy's body up to the top of the chair.
The little guy turned to Alice who was below him. Alice could sense that the little boy cared about her.
"Get up and get out! Find your family and go home. Don't mind me, I'm safe here!" Alice told him to leave with a smile.
However, the little one put his feet down again and was about to go down. Quickly Alice pushed him up again.
"What are you doing? Alright, I'm not comfortable here, so if you've found someone you know, please open the door of this bar for me! Is that so? Are you satisfied? Is that what you want?" Alice was at her wit's end at the behavior of this one boy.
The little boy smiled and nodded at Alice from the roof where he was sitting.
"Well, go sweet boy! Get help, ya! Cheer up!" Alice returned her smile as she waved goodbye.
Alice finally managed to send the little boy out of the Bar with much difficulty.
Alice's head grew heavier and spun. Her body lost control and made Alice's hands reflexively rest on the arrangement of the chairs.
But unfortunately, because Alice's body was already very weak, instead of resting on the chair, Alice pulled the pile of chairs and fell on her after Alice's body lay on the floor first.
Brugh!
The sound of a chair falling down and falling on Alice.
Alice moved slowly with pain in her body. Alice pushed aside the chairs that were sitting on them one by one.
Alice was still able to smile despite the many wounds on her body right now.
"Hey, God! Am I going to die here? I haven't even avenged those who hurt me? But at least I'm grateful, my life is useful. Before I die I can still save the child,"
"If only my son was still alive now. He's probably about two years younger than that cute kid, isn't he?"
"Okay, if you want me dead, can I meet my son there?"
Alice muttered under her breath while enduring the drowsiness and extreme pain. Alice closed her eyes with tears dripping from the corners of her eyes.
About one hour after Alice was unconscious the little boy came back with many people who followed him.
The little boy was seen in the arms of a handsome man who looked like him.
At the request of the little handsome man carried Alice's frail body out of the dark and cold bar.
