I am a lion "The king of the Jungle". My family named me Jem. I am the king of the jungle so it is obvious for other animals to be afraid of me. All the citizen of our kingdom and I are living in a forest named by my father after my birth. Our kingdom is called "Jems Kingdom".

My father was the king of this kingdom before me. My mother used to take care of me. But when I was seven years old, some human beings came to our jungle for hunting. They almost caught me but my father saved me. Unfortunately, they caught my father. When my father died, my mother became the queen of the jungle. It was happened because I was only seven and according our culture we cannot be king until we are ten. Because of this reason, my mother became the queen of the jungle.

After four years of happy life, some human decided to construct road in the middle of our home i.e. Jems Kingdom. When we heard about it my mother decided to stop them. My mother went there to stop them but they killed my mother. After three months, when I was about eleven, our citizen started a wish for the King. There was only I left in royal family so I have to became the new king of our Kingdom. I was not happy from that post because every king and queen of our community either got killed by human beings or got caught by them.

Anyway, I took the post. I started doing the job of King like solving the problems, fighting for our rights and many more. Living like this was wonderful. My life changed when I met Oley, the most beautiful lioness I have ever seen. She was from the nearby Kingdom which is called "The Warm Kingdom". She had two brothers and her parents left them when they were big. Her older brother was the King and younger once was Minister of that Kingdom.

She was like our family because she thinks about the citizen of her Kingdom but her brothers weren't the same. Actually she had left that Kingdom because of her brothers. They were mean to citizens, rude to sister and many more. She was tired of all those things so she had done that. She was in-search of a good place for her to live. Then she found our Kingdom and she came in. We became a good friend and then she started sharing her good as-well-as bad stories of her life. I did the same.

I am not kidding but when I was almost thirteen, again human beings started cutting down trees. It was too much pressure from human being to us animals. They were cutting down trees every day. Suddenly, Oley came up with a plan about how we can make them stop doing such activities in our habitat. Her plan was that "If we all animals unite and chase all human out of our habitat to their place. They might never come back again in our Kingdom."

We tried it and it worked. All of them ran to their places and they haven't tried yet to come in our "Jems Kingdom". Not even in our neighboring Kingdoms. After all of this, Oley and I got married. Now we have two sons Augusta and John and one daughter Olive. Augusta is the present king of our kingdom. Oley and I are now old and we are now retired from our job.
