*the next day*
In-ha, Ji-chul and detective Kim meet at a spot and set off to tail Chief Kim. Detective Kim goes inside the station, In-ha and Ji-chul wait for chief Kim to come out of the station. Chief Kim finally gets out of his office, as soon as detective Kim gets a chance he starts following chief Kim, just as the chief was about to get in his car detective Kim called him from behind.
" Chief!"
" What is it?"
" Nothing much, I was just wondering if you are doing fine." Detective Kim puts on an appealing smile. He had zero interest in how chief Kim was doing, he was just buying some time for In-ha and Ji-chul to attach a tracker on chief Kim's car, they signaled detective Kim when they were doe attaching the tracker. " Well you don't have to tell me, I am not curious anymore" Detective Kim walks away.
" What a weird guy, he must be out of his mind." Chief Kim gets in his car and drives away.
" Uncle, get in fast, he has already set off"
" Ok, here we come chief Kim"
" Where is he going though..." In-ha asks
" His location is showing some Japanese restaurant" Ji-chul says while looking at his mobile
" On his way to take a bribe?" Detective Kim says.
They keep on following chief Kim and reach a Japanese restaurant, they book the room next to where chief Kim was sitting.
" Chief Kim it's been a while, come have a seat. Well, you see, about my nephew's case, you can take care of it right?"
" Of course sir, you have helped me so much."
" This is a small gift for you.."
" Ahahaha.., you didn't have to do this much for me"
" Keep it, you just have to remember this"
" Sure sir."
In-ha, Ji-chul and detective Kim were sitting quietly recording all this in the next room.
" Then I will get going, I will make sure that your nephew's case is cleared by today night"
Chief Kim leaves the restaurant, In-ha Ji-chul and detective Kim also set off, Detective Kim drop In-ha and Ji-chul home and sets off to the station. As soon as he reaches the station he barges into the chief's office.
" What do you think you are doing detective Kim!!! Where are your manners!"
" Stop bullshitting, you are no more a Chief!"
" Do you really want to lose your job?! Get out this instant!"
" Look who is talking" Detective Kim plays the recording he had recorded at the restaurant, the chief is shocked and confused on hearing the recording.
" Y-y-you, how dare you!!!!"
Detective Kim leaned towards the chief and said " This is why you should have listened to me when I was still giving you a chance..."
Officers walk in and take away Chief Kim. Instead of jumping with joy Detective Kim is disappointed and sad, Chief Kim was his senior and mentor, He had always respected and looked up to him, He felt bad that he himself had to see his mentor go down the drain.
*Meanwhile at In-ha's house*

Detective Kim calls In-ha, he thinks that In-ha and Ji-chul could help him finding the person who attacked arsonist Park.
