Chapter 13 - Rule breaker

As I headed for the entrance to the main building of the academy, I felt all eyes on me.

"Who is this student?"

"She must be some foreign exchange students"

"How dare she…"

I heard various comments coming out of the crowd, but I just walked with a smile, all the way to the entrance, where a tall, large, brown-haired girl was standing in my way.

"Excusme Miss…"

She tried to recognize me, but she didn't had the slighest idea of my identity.

"Kerrington."

I helped her out kindly.

"Kerrington ?!"

A short blonde, green-eyed female student stepped out from behind her. She measured me from head to toe as if I were some pile of manure.

"How do you look like? I'm almost confused you with a human being… hehehe "

She laughed, while putting a green fan in front of her mouth. Her companion laughed with her in confusion.

'Ah… I already know who is she. Melinda Folkhart. She was Christian's second biggest fan and Ashley's biggest rival. In short, the color blouse trend also was her idea. A disgusting little dwarf. '

"Unlike you, Melinda, I know how to step up."

I smiled cynically and passed by.

"Don't be so arrogant Kerrington! The headmaster will very soon erase the smile from the face of rule offenders of your own kind! "

She shouted furiously.

"Who broke the rule? I don't… if you could reach the school regulations in the library, you might be able to read it… hahaha "

I know I'm an ass ... but that's just felt too good. I don't even understand that, how could this silly goose have forced Ashley to her knees…

The academy consisted of 3 years, I am now in my second year, and Christian is a third year. When I finish school, they immediately hold our wedding… so I have 2 years to frustrate the covenant.

The first two years of school were peaceful for Ashley, according to the book, she didn't even show up at social events, and while Christian was in school, no one bullied her. She just watched his fiancé surrounded by gold digger bitches from the side lines. She started arguing aggressively with rivals when she realized there was more between Christian and Kelsey than should… In her third year, however, no one defended her anymore, so a series of spectacular humiliations ensued in the girl's life. The climax was when Ashley knelt in front of this Melinda in the school yard and begged her to stay away from Christian. Not like this little girl had any chance against Kelsey…

I entered the central hall, which was a room decorated with huge carvings and paintings. With a stage front and 16 rows of chairs in the front… or rather armchairs. Like a theater. I looked around, my eyes searching for the main villain, as this is the great opportunity to pique his interest.

Like I said ... the writer may have hated Ashley's character.

But seriously! What is this? What is that? I'm fucking average! I'm the protagonist… okay, Kelsey is a lot prettier, but shouldn't I be above average or something? Everyone here is at least as beautiful as me… where is my fucking cheat code? In stories like this, the protagonist is extra intelligent, or strong, or magical prodigy, or beautiful… or something… but nothing to me! I mean… I was a karate champion, but Ashley's body is so weak… she can't even throw a ball, let alone a man…

I took a seat in line 5.

"This is a disaster… if I don't stumble upon Ronald romantically, I am screwed… from tomorrow everyone will be dressed colorfuly, and then I won't have a chance to get his attention…"

I chewed my nails as the opening ceremony began.

The headmaster took the stage, I don't think he had even finished his first sentence, when Melinda shouted.

"Ashley Kerrington has broke the school's rules! She refused to wear a uniform! "

'Very good! It almost hurts to say this, but well done Melinda… so now everyone learns my name. '

The headmaster made me stood up.

"Ms. Kerrington, how do you explain your dress violation? "

"Mr. Principal, the school's regulations state that students must wear the uniform provided by the academy. They should also wear stockings that reach above the knee under the costume a patternless blouse or shirt. Nowhere does the policy regulate the color of the blouse. "

In fact, the main reason the headmaster didn't speak out about the new trend was that he was a greedy dick, and so he could easily embezzle the money that was used to fund the uniforms every year… because after that, everyone wore their own expensive clothes. And he only had to provide the gray main piece.

"I give space to Miss Kerrington's reason. Have a seat…"

And so the first day was over… I haven't run into a character whose name is mentioned more than 3 times in the book… what a misfortune.

'I have no other chance… I have to get close to Christian… since Ronald is his best friend. Damn it! I didn't want to see my asshole fiancé in the first 1 month… now how do I seduce the villain behind his back? No chance… '

My head knocked on the table as I tried to memorize the book of ethics in my suite.
