"Young master its lunch."

"Young master it's already dinner time."

"Young master Yuuma."

"Young master."

"..."

"Yuuma."

"..."

Kenji sighed in defeat he had tried every method to get Yuuma up but no matter what he hadn't opened his eyes. It had been two days and the Oxblood family is worried, to appease them he suggested the court physician who is already on her way.

At this point, Yuuma's lost two in a half days of nutrients. Yuuma should feel very weak right now but he is still glowing with vitality. Kenji wondered if this was part of the boy's new behavior change.

A soft knock echoed on to the door of the room and the butler knew who it was. The court physician along with yuuma's mother was waiting.

"How's the boy's condition?" The physician did waste time and hurried to the boy's side immediately checking his pulse, eyes, ears, and mouth.

"He went to sleep three days ago after dinner and never woke up until now. Before he slept he was already very sluggish and exhibited unnatural behavior that he hadn't shown before." Kenji tried to explain to the best of his ability while Yuuma's mom held a tissue to her eyes like she was crying.

"What kind of behavior and how long was he looking sluggish? Tell me quickly!"

Kenji cleared his throat and answered, "ever since he woke up that day he was tired very easily. I had to carry him to the library because he almost passed out onto the floor and took a nap in my arms. When he woke up again he was completely fine. I don't know how to explain his behavior besides he seems like a different person entirely," Kenji couldn't help saying the last few words since it had been bothering him for some time now.

The physician hummed her fingers gently caressing Yuuma's hand when a blue glow emitted from her palm onto Yuuma's palm. A moment of silence later and she removed her hand rolling her sleeves back down.

"He just sleeping. There are no internal wounds, spells, or poisons. He doesn't show any signs of declining health and is very healthy." She stated before narrowing her eyes and continuing, "actually his health is abnormally healthy for someone whose been asleep for this long. It's like he doesn't need food or water...but where would he replenish his hunger? There's also something else..."

Kenji and Yuuma's mother blinked in expectation as the girl stood up with her finger to her chin.

"I can't feel any magic inside him."

Yuuma's mother gasped and looked like she had gotten struck with a chicken leg. Her face became pale and swallowed thickly, "w-what does that mean?" She whispered.

"Ahem, it means your son doesn't have any magic inside him. He's magicless." The physician bowed her head after that and excused herself in a hurry scared of the madam.

The madam is a mad man when she gets angry!

The room was bathed in uncomfortable silence, Yuuma's mother shook, her fingers clenched and wailed, "how is that possible! He had magic just a few days ago showing it off to everyone! Impossible! Impossible!" She screeched running out of the room and into the corridor going to consult her husband and anyone who can give her answers.

Kenji's brows furrowed into confusion as well. How could the young master suddenly be magicless? He really did have magic before. It was a brown colored magic that could control dirt, although not very powerful now it could become powerful in the future.

When the news got out into the mansion it was in chaos and several physicians and people who excelled in magic knowledge, powerful in the field came to check on Yuuma.

No one could find an answer.

The mysterious disappearance of Yuuma's magic, his change in behavior, and his newfound laziness baffled many.

Many days later Yuuma opened his eyes.

He yawned his lavender eyes watering with unfinished sleep and stretched comfortably. At least he felt refreshed, it must have been a good nap.

"Young master?"

Yuuma turned to butler Kenji and yawned again yanking the covers over his head to hide from life. "Good morning Kenji," the bedding muffled it but his voice was heard. Suddenly a noise that sounded like a laugh came from the butler and Yuuma narrowed his eyes. He took the covers off of himself and slumped forward.

"What are you laughing at?" He raised a brow. The butler's face carried a hint of a smile that was once there and shook his head like he couldn't believe it himself.

"Young master you've been asleep for a week now."

Yuuma scratched his cheek and said in a daze, "is that so? What did I miss?"

The butler blinked thinking he really has changed so drastically. "Many physicians came to check on you and you've been pronounced as magicless. No one can figure out why you are asleep and suddenly magicless. . ." The butler waited in anticipation to see the little boy lunge at him in wrath screaming as to why he's magicless. But that didn't come. All that came was an unenthusiastic hum and a teary eyed sleepy boy.

"Am I still the heir?" He asked after a while his voice groggy.

Kenji saw anticipation in his eyes like he was excited to hear a negative response, very unusual of Yuuma.

"Er. . .yes?" Kenji watched the boy's face deflate, sad to hear the response. The butler felt a bit weird about it but was internally amused.

"The court physician will come today to check on you since your now awake. Are your hungry young master?"

Yuuma shook his head no and plopped down from the bed wanting to change his clothes out of the gown he somehow was wearing. He wasn't wearing this when he had fallen asleep. The butler understood and got some fresh clothes for him to wear.

Still, Yuuma was a bit taken aback about his magicless status, but he wasn't completely shocked. he was a different person after all it wouldn't be surprising if he didn't have the quota magic. But he did find it strange because in the magic books he read if you feel, warm, cold, or windy, inside of you that's your magic. The book said the feeling is hard to explain and that it can't necessarily be put into words, supposably you just know. Like intition.

Yuuma's 'intuition' says that he does have magic because he can feel it. He doesn't really just feel it inside him because it goes through him. It's everywhere. It's like little wispy things that are in the air that goes through him and out of him.

If he's magicless on the inside does that necessarily mean he's magicless on the outside?
