Helena enjoyed the naiveness of Zia. She enjoyed showing her new things. Somehow, she felt if she were to prepare her for the inevitable, she wouldn't be so shocked. The first time would be very difficult for her if she wasn't prepared somewhat.
As she walked down to Damien's new room, she thought about her first time coming to the manor. She was seventeen years old. She had no parents, and she was living on the streets. She wore a hooded cloak to hide from the men to protect herself and stole food daily. Her life was hard and dangerous, especially being an attractive young woman.
One day she was caught stealing from one of Arlon's vendors and he locked her up in her room in the manor. At the time, the room was a guest room. Helena cried and thought the worse things possible, but one day, after she had calmed down and had a couple of different servants take care of her needs, he visited her.
