"Do you remember how to begin?" Syraah asked Orion while she burned herbs and cleansed the air. She always hid a small set of tools in the space she would meditate in. She never knew when she would need to go there quickly and escape the stresses of her world. Lately, it seemed more often than not.
"Yes. I think so. The most important thing is to not wake up too quickly." He replied as he stood by the entrance looking out to the darkness. He hated being alone in a situation like this. How could he protect her? She had too much faith in him and it worried him.
"Syraah sat in her circle, crossed her legs, and closed her eyes to begin her meditation. She fell deeply into it quickly. She had done it so many times. It was easy for her to slip in and out of meditation. It was much more difficult for Orion and she knew he would have to get used to it, so she needed to hurry.
