I woke up in a forest, where a woman was sitting on a trunk, caressing two puppies sleeping on her lap. That image made me smile and when I touched my belly I saw that I didn't have a big one like before so the tears started to fall from my eyes.
"Yeah!" She said it was the voice of the other times. "Is half true!"
"Half true?" I asked confused, what was she talking about? "Who are you? Where am I?"
She got up and the puppies run to me, one had blue eyes and the other had green ones, just like me. I was so amazed that I didn't realize that she was talking to me.
"Sam! You have to hear me!" she said and I looked at her. "You have to choose between your mates and your puppies." she explained to me and my heart almost broke.
Why would I have to choose between them? Then I remembered what happened and I sigh. I must be dead. When I was about to speak, she touched my lips, like she knew what I was going to ask.
"Yes! I am the goddess of werewolves and I am giving a second chance of life."
"I died, right? Did my baby died too?! I asked and she smiled. Then everything got dark.
"I will give you time to think. "She told me "Make a wise choice my dear."
I didn't understand why she said that. How am I supposed to choose between them? But I knew I could trust her, not only because she was the goddess, I just feel it!
"I know what I did!" I heard Julian's voice, he sounded hurt. "I don't care what my father did. I am truly in love with him."
I got embarrassed, it was the first time he said that he loved me with such passion, but who was he talking to?
"I know Julian, but because of that little game, my son is in a coma and Sam is missing."
"Sam is missing? Who is this man?" I asked but no one answered, making me scream but then I heard my wolf voice and it appeared in front of me. It was one white one with two big yellow eyes. "Calm down. You're in a coma, they can't hear you.
"So, I'm still alive?" I asked surprised, but why did the goddess say that? I can't choose a life without mates, even less without my babies. Will I be able to choose?"
The wolf disappeared after I calm down, then I continued to hear the chat of them. Well, it was the only thing I could do. Waiting for a miracle to happen.
"I know he is the prince!" Julian said "I know what I did. Please, let me fix it, I beg you."
"I don't know. You almost killed my son and I know that he won't die without you."
"I won't die? So the prince is me? No way!" I said, amazed.
After a good time of silence, I heard the door open and close, which made me curious and with more desire to wake up. I was totally out of what was happening, I may be smart but this is too much for me to handle.
The silence was unsupportable but I couldn't do anything, so I laid down in the dark and looked up, thinking.
"No matter what is happening, I have to make a choice."
I was getting tired of waiting, I was almost crazy with the silence, but then I heard a familiar voice behind me so I looked back and when I saw Adam, my eyes got watery and I run to him, happy.
"I came to visit!" he said, smiling while hugging me "Surprised?"
"How are you here? Did you died?"
"No. Is a special power that the goddess gave me... either way, how are you?"
I didn't answer and hugged him stronger. Even without the smell of him, I could feel all the love he was giving to me, but remembering what the goddess told me I decided to speak with Adam.
"The goddess..." I started but he touched my mouth with his finger, making me silent.
"I'm sorry!" he said with his head on my shoulder "Is the best I can do!"
Then his body started to vanish and I panic, I didn't want him to leave me alone.
"Shh. Is ok!" he said, smiling "Someone is coming, I have to wake up. Speak to you later."
After that, someone entered the bedroom and the smell of the food got me hungry but I couldn't move.
"You have to eat!" someone said "I know you are worried, but..."
"YOU DON'T KNOW NOTHING!" Julian shooted right next to me, surprising me. Was he there all this time "You don't know..."
Is he crying? I was worried and I felt his pain in my chest. Did he regretted what he did?"
"Your time is running out!" the goddess said and everything got silent "Do you want to live?"
"I... I..." I couldn't speak, my voice was stuck in my throat and my hurt started to hurt, so much that I fell on the floor. "What is happening."
"It looks that someone got ahead of you!" she said and disappeared.
"What do you mean?" I asked, scared "Hey! Goddess! Please answer me."
All of a sudden, the floor opened and I woke up in a hospital bed, surprising Julian. Then the truth fell on me. If he was alive, then the babies are... No way. I can't believe it."
"My babies!" I said softly and hugged my belly, crying "Where is Sam?"
He smiled and got up before giving me a kiss. One that I really didn't want at the moment. Then he got out of the bedroom and came back with a letter, which made me confused and curious.
"A letter?" I asked.
"Yeah...!" he said, dragging the word "He gave me it yesterday, but I didn't open it because it has your name on the front.
"I see!" I said, remembering my encounter with him some time ago, which made me smile. "I hear everything."
His face turned red and he averted his eyes to the side, which made me laugh while I opened the letter.
"What's the matter?" he asked when he saw me reading the letter slowly.
I didn't know how to put it to words, so I just gave him the letter. He got confused but read it anyway.
"Why did he write to take care of the kids?" he asked angrily, but he must have felt my pain because he changed his way of talk. "You know... I was your first, so the babies are mine. But I can open an exception to him."
I smiled a little, but then the words of the goddess came to my mind again and I cried harder.
"It looks that someone got ahead of you."
"Please be well, Adam!" I begged with the hand near my heart "Don't leave me."
