Ok so like, where am I? And who's this little girl. Did the transport fail?
I heard a voice in my room and open my eyes in shock to see a woman standing in my room.
She looked to be maybe 18 years old, black hair, black eyes and slightly narrow eyes.
She was looking around with a confused and slightly mad expression on her face.

I am a hero summoned from a other world... sounds cool right? Like I sound so important and stuff. Anyway. Where am I? I was trying to go home but ended up here. Could this perhaps be earth?
I stare at her failing to understand anything she said but "Where am I" so I answer her.

She seems to have understood and goes quiet for a while. I can tell she's thinking but about what does not show on her face, so when she does talk again I don't really ask but I reply anyway.

Now she clearly has a confused look on her face but it's only for a moment. I'm starting to get hungry and I want to go back to sleep.

I start to pull the shin cover back up and turn away from her. She seems mad about it but I don't care.

Hold on, isn't that a little cold to ignore a hero from another world who just appeared in your room?
The hunger is really hurting now so I'm just going to sleep.

I felt something push against my back then go away right before I fall asleep.
I try go through my morning routine even with my useless hand. It was very challenging but I managed.
I left after the director thanks me again for feeding the chickens, she didn't notice the girl following me.
Speaking of which, I've been more hungry then normal ever since yesterday so maybe this girl is just a hallucination. I heard from a sailor who was stranded on an island for 3 weeks seeing people and hearing voices when your really hungry is normal. I'll just ignore her and she should go away.
I go to the docks and ask if the forman will hire me today.

I went and asked other people for work. A few thanked me for my heroism from yesterday but still didn't let me work.
I looked around all day till night. I went straight back to my room to sleep away the hunger.
That's when I noticed the girl didn't go away even after the whole day.
I guess I'm super hungry if the hallucinations still there.

I look at her in confusion since I can't use magic to heal.

I guess she didn't understand what I ment to I shook my head and snaped my fingers to create a flame onto my finger.

I still can't understand how I could heal my hand with magic.

Then something I cant explain happened. Her right arm went into mine and then I lost all control. She then starting casting a spell that looked very powerful and was very bright. Then it broke in half and I could control my arm again. She looked confused and I was very confused.

Can you let me try again? I want to see why I failed.
I want to see the lights again and I also want to figure out how she took control of my arm.
She puts her right arm into mine again and starts to cast another big spell with lots of light.
Its breaks again and I can control my arm. She looks as confused as I am but probably for different reasons.

I'll need to try a few more things.
I let her and she cast a bunch of different spells. Big and little ones, all different colors. All of them break and let me control my arm again.
Then all of a sudden she stops and tells me.

I snap my fingers and a flame sprouts onto my finger.
She gets real close and studies is closely.

I make a ball of water and a bit of wind.
She studies both closely again and turns away in thought.

I get on the ground and fish out the book hidden under my bed. It's one of the only things I own so I keep it hidden so the other kids don't steal it.
I show it to her, she tells me to flip through the book and I do.

She asked me a few more questions I didn't really understand then she went quiet for a bit. She then looked at my hand again.

I think I've figured out a way to heal your hand.
Those words hit me to my core. If I can heal my hand I can work again.

But, it will have some... adverse effects. How attached are you to your flesh?

I can heal it but since you can't use anything but dark magic, its basically going to animate your bones in your hand but not the flesh. You'll have a skeleton hand but it will function exactly like your normal one, just boney.
Oh and if you do I totally want to decorate it with some super cute jewels like some diamonds or something.
The blood recedes from my face and I go through her words again in my head.

And I confused again. This woman never says stuff I can understand.

I can chop yours off and replace it with the new one. You would have to replace it as you grow since it will be a dead hand. It will also be a bit gray, but a little makeup or a glove and no one could tell.
I don't understand this girl. How can she say such scary things like it's nothing.
I'd be lying if I didn't think about it though.
I need to use my hand again otherwise I'm going to be forever hungry.
She seems to be thinking about something again but I stop trying to understand her.
The hunger pains start again so I curl up and go to sleep. Thinking about how I could get a hand from somewhere.
